It would depend on the second effect. If someone is buying it in order to make it a Rift, a Stealth Screen wouldn't be particularly useful, for example.

Except Stealth Screen isn't an effect obtainable via the "Analyze" button. It's an effect, which just appears as such;

"A Stealth Screen has appeared around the planet "insert name here".

The effect should be either Sm/Lg Moon or Ruins.

The OP should analyze himself and tell us the result.

Weird, I thought mine showed up as an Analyze effect when I got my Daily Reward, and then I analyzed and got the Stealth Screen. Of course, I've only gotten one, and I believe that was more than a year ago, so I certainly can't be certain I remember it happening like that.

I'm too scared to get Small moons though...

There's a 33% you will get a Small moon, but if you get Large Moons or Ruins, you basically hit the jackpot

Is there some evidence to support the claim that the % is skewed to small moons? I believed it was even for each at 25%.

It already has Rings, so that is not a possibility.

So does that mean I'ts pointless to analyze it again if I rift it?

If the Analyze is available then you should see what it is, especially if you Rift it, since you definitely can't sell it at that point.

I don't know whether or not it's better to leave the Analyze option available or use it and see what you get before selling.

If by "analyze it again" you mean use a Transfuser, apparently you cannot, as it already has an effect that can be gained from the Transfuser.

You cannot sell this planet without analyzing it yourself to see what that 2nd effect is because dependant on what appears, it could decrease the value or increase the value.

If you're going to rift the planet, then ofc you analyze it yourself.


When you say, "analyze is available". Are you saying there is a button on the actions tab which says "analyze"?

Yup. Before I had already used a reality transufser and about two months later now I'ts saying I have another alilyzation available on it under the actions tab.

Just click the damned button!

If you sell the planet, people will want to know beforehand what they're getting...

If you don't sell the planet, by not clicking analyze right away, you are robbing yourself of either additional production... or additional space for more production.

Either way you lose out in some way.
