Why can't your friend make the auction themselves? Looks a little suspicious to me that he can't make his own forum account. Also, this is not worth 20K to me.

He's actually unable to register for an account here. Idk why.. I remember having a similar problem signing up to the forum back when I first joined. I think he's trying to contact support about it.

I really wish you didn't leave a comment like this Firekas. It instantly makes people weary bidding, even tho it's a completely honest auction. There's so much anxiety involved with making massive trades as it is, that adding this just makes it worse. Granted, this is my first time hosting an auction; but anyone who knows me, knows I'm a very honest trader. Its not like the owner of the planets identity is being hidden, and most people in game know him from other trades. This planet is being sold for my friend Reeneck, or Brandon for those who know him on FB. Idk how me helping someone sell a planet, bcz they cant get onto the forums. Would even look suspicious to begin with? I've seen players sell for legion mates all the time here. It's what inspired me to offer my help initially, after he told me that he cannot log in himself.

Just an update. If the bids go high enough, as an added bonus I can arrange an uplift of x2 arti prod to the planet before its sold, to make it x20 MR. If you're unsure if your bidding enough for the upgrade; but wish for this to be included as a part of what you're bidding for, just leave a note next to the amount listed. Indicating whether or not a x20 MR upgrade, will be required for your bid to be final.

Maybe if you didn't crap over other peoples threads, they won't do it back to you.

What are you saying.. That this is revenge for 'craping on other posts?' Firstly, I do not recall ever deliberately craping on anyone's posts. Secondly, don't you think it's a little childish to seek revenge on something like that? Rather than simply discussing the issue with the person? If you genuinely thought that i was ever 'crapping' on any of your posts, and told me about it. I would immediately delete the comment, just so it doesn't even make you feel that way. I certainly don't go out and make a goal to ruin other peoples sales.

What was childish was you deciding to write crap on my thread, you could have PM'd me instead of posting on it, if you did so I would have left your sale alone and would have happily received the criticism so I could ascertain what I was looking for. I didn't try to ruin your sale, simply stated some facts that had me a little suspicious and the fact that the 20K starting bid you had before was too high to start for a planet like this, for me anyway.

There's not really any hidden info. The offer for a x2 boost was optional, and simply based on an incentive for higher bids. The higher bid, and request for it; was the cost itself. Essentially, the auction would be just for the x18 MR, if bids remained low and no boosts we're requested with the bids. If someone specifically wanted a x20 MR, and then made a higher bid based exclusively on wanting that instead. Then I would make that adjustment for them, as a free bonus for the higher bid and request, make sense?

As for the hidden reserve. If the reserve wasn't hidden; it would in essence, become the starting bid wouldn't it? The way I see it, the only practical kind of reserve, would be a hidden one for this reason. Also, the hidden reserve was only in place, so the planet doesn't go for the starting bid, incase if no other bids come in. I'm unsure of the exact value of this planet, but I do believe it's worth more than 15k. This planet's somewhat equal to an x18 MR Mega Colossal, and I believe I could get at least 2000 AP/ hr from it...

All in all, this was primarily just a learning experience for me; as it's my first time trying to sell anything this big. In everything i've learned from this, I feel like I've learned the most when it comes properly preparing an auction. I'm sure I made tons of mistakes here, which is likely why no real bids came in. Then again, perhaps no one else actually considers this to be worth more than 15k, who knows.. maybe both are true lol.

The auction was cancelled Topher, because so few bids came in. I thank you for bidding though. It seems like the only people who bid on this auction, were ppl I know in game. Which might have had a bit to do, with that comment made about this auction 'looking suspicious'. Once Firekas planted that seed, I think the auctions potential was pretty much ruined.

Thx Bonny. I feel like I sort of failed at running this auction, mostly from inexperience. Though with what I learned in the process. I'm pretty sure my future efforts will work out a lot better.
