Been a while since i have suggested anything

What i'm suggesting is that each base has a 1 day protection from enemy locks after it has been disabled.
nothing more. nothing less.

it will help us salvage what production we can from the attack.
it also help stop attacks like we have just had. one after another.

If your base is locked with great regularity, there is probably a reason for that.

You can solve your getting locked problem by getting more fixers & putting more clamps on

True. though one lock after another tends to get on your nerves. but i understand you point.

Actually, the "your base is crap" reasoning isn't why this idea is so bad for the game. Think about it... The production bonus you lose (BTW, it's not a right, it's a bonus) when your base is disabled is the Base Defender Bonus. If you get disabled, that bonus starts to regenerate on your second payout after the disable. Since it's a "defender" bonus and you wouldn't be defending on the first day with this 24hr lock cooldown, logically, you shouldn't begin to regenerate until the 3rd payout. This would have limited effect on the "pinatas" of the galaxy that get multi-locked in one day and the once-a-day bases, but those that only get locked rarely (once a week or less) would be getting punished by this protection. They would have to wait an extra day to get their production bonus back. Basically, if you build your base so well that you hardly ever get disabled, you're punished.

Getting disabled the second time in one day has absolutely no adverse effects on your base or production.

+1 Give the smaller legion a chance for once in GL. The elitist basing groups can afford the change

Ahh I typed that and then submitted later. However, I don't believe black fox intended for the base defender bonus to be delayed due to the 1 day protection they are suggesting. I believe a 1 day protection for disabled bases with no delay to the base defender bonus would be beneficial. If the protection added an additional day as you described than -1 and I'd imagine most people would feel that way. not that this would ever get implemented anyway

Tell my why i should listen to a guy who constantly insults people and sucks up to others? even now, "Blacksox" is that supposed to be funny? is it even necessary? if you listen to half of the criticism i tell you (and the other half of the forum) about your lack of basic manners, then i'd listen to you. why would anyone listen to someone who just takes the **** out of everyone over and over ? would you you put up with it ? and sure. i guess you do know what you're talking about. Yes, well, like I said... You wouldn't actually be defending your base while you have the suggested immunity, so why should you still get the bonus?




If people like you would listen to me, yinz would all be considering the ramifications of what you are suggesting, and I wouldn't have to take the piss out of it. My normal short and sweet (and usually sarcastic) -1s are intended to get people thinking about why something suggested is bad. Over time, there have been several people who have "figured it out." And remember, respect is earned, not given. Someone acts like a moron or a spoiled little child, they're going to get treated like one. Sorry if I don't pander to the Junior Healy's around here.0

Fair enough. But again, why would i want to listen to someone who i know is just going to take this piss one way or another. and stuff like that isn't going to make them think about it. but rather draw attention to why you're being suck a prick over a suggestion. and if you haven't noticed. nearly all of your comments turn into arguments because you don't know how to treat people right. And yes i know respect is earned. but i'm not going to try to earn your respect if you don't give it to start with. people never act well to disrespectful criticism . everyone else on this forum menages to say what is bad about a suggestion without being an ass about it. why can't you -_-

Unfortunately he gets the luxury of being a prick when he is usually right.

Instead of taking frustration out towards him, try to think of a honest good solution that makes sense, is easy to implement, and doesn't make people who complain about their base being killed sound like whiny low ranks upset hey aren't getting base payouts they don't deserve.

Do that and throw it in his face for review.

True, I'd do that. but he'd find something bad with it. and i can take criticism. just not his. he always goes about it in a disrespect full way.
