Ok, first a summary of the EM costs of the Legion missions:
Vorean Extinction - Task 3: 135k EM
The Xathe Vortex - Task 2: 120k EM / Task 3: purgers
The Siladon Event - Task 3: 100k EM
Disturbance at Ryelis - Task 3: 160k EM
The Ardyne Sabotage - Task 1: 320k EM / Task 3: purgers
Carjean: The Heist - Task 4: 140k EM (optional)
The Cerulean Conclave - Task 3: 100k EM / Task 2: purgers
Roathir: Diplomatic Resolution - Task 2: 120k EM / Task 3: 320k EM
I don't see how this is going to be sustainable on the long run, unless people stop making purgers (which are also needed for some missions)... also new missions are coming, and probably some of them will require more EM.
I'm personally spending way more than I'm getting and I have already used all my ctp to stockpile EM, but unless I stop making purgers (which I don't want to), at some point I will be unable to do many of the missions above.
I have no problems with these costs, and I usealy even help "low" rank members with EM if they are 50K - 100K short of beeing able to do task 1 on The Ardyne Sabotage (the 320K EM task)
what I do is not to pick the EM task every time we get a mission witch have a task that require EM to do, but rotate betwen tasks
Take Disturbance at Ryelis as an example,
we have had that one 4 times as far as I rember, so i have done (Task 1) 1 time, (Task 2) 2 times, and (Task 3) 1 time
so next time if we have enougth Explorer, Guard, Excavator, or Biologist on task 2, I'm proberly doing task 1 or 3
that is a total cost of 160K EM on 4 missions, or 40K EM pr mission = 13.333 EM/day average on this one
havent checked my production numbers to see if I get more then 13K EM pr day, but doing a rotation like this usealy lets me pick up more EM then I spendt....
and it helps to keep things fair for all members,
everyone in a legion uesaly wants to do task x (on this mission, task 1 to max the Chronostatic Pulser), but if you want a high chance you need members on all tasks...
