not the ideal mission exotic planet because you cant get the 2:1 artifact adaptive spires... the icy with ruins is probably better because although you cant get the 2:1 bonus on a orbital stabiliser you can get two 2:1 artifact adaptive spires from it... just sayin

The Icy would be better off as a MC in the long run, if I had any melters or could get one for a decent price and some QSE's I'd do it myself. As for the toxic I don't see anything wrong with it, when I made my Mission Exotic I didn't really care about taking something I could get 2 arti from the spires instead of 1 each and still don't, there are plenty of 2:1 artis out there to compensate with.
