There is a 2.5x rank damage cap in place. I won't argue about it. But... Can you make it so when the odds are clear (i.e. 8500+ attack power on player ship vs 600 defense on the NPC, rank 160 Crimson Hawk) the hits are always 2.5 x rank (400 damage in this particular case) ? And no less. It would make sense since the odds are overwhelming.
