 Small Change to Ranking Up

So we already have the suggestion for a 'rank up' button which i think is a great idea, but i have another suggestion. When we level we get a full refill of energy, hull, and shields. Can we get the negative effects purged from out ship aswell? often i have several negative effects active and although i can use a cage and null fuse to get rid of em, i just figure when we 'rank' our ship is 'repaired' by 'top technicians' which is why we get full refills. so why not get our negative effects purged as well. This would apply to both negative artifact effects, npc debuffs, and traps. its like a clean slate.

I think we're pretty lucky to have a free energy refill as it is.

Besides, do you really do much leveling up PVP-wise when you've got a bunch of negative status effects active on you? I tend to sit and wait until they're gone. Leveling with -20% attack or whatnot is a huge waste of energy, in my opinion. You'll get far less kills (and bonus experience from those kills) by doing so.

Someone mentioned taking away the free refills and instead getting a free tri-matrix emblem when you level up. That would make it really easy to not waste energy. It seems quite simple as well. Right now if I use a refilling artifact I waste 1000-2000 energy regardless of how crappy of a mission I do. They are only helpful for scan blitzes really. I get more mission completions by NOT using XP buffs because I'm going to waste energy either way.

You changed to more energy didn't you ? Yeah I am finding the majority wasted, I prefer the energy sac for a small boost to using a cube due to waste, except scans like you say. I also have to do XTS-9 to "waste" extra energy, that's the only two missions I have left use XTS-9.
