I keep a full sent of continuum anaylisers on my ship along with all other scan mods I have unlocked but cloak mods are low level ones normaly broken as I hack very little, no where near enough for me to be above a large ship i would think. guessing elearian is missing darmos maybe, and some other expensive allys/mods

a little off topic, but its nice to see your ship was pretty close to mines at my rank. though your pvp stats and medal points are better and you were playing in 2013 but i have more AP, mineral and RP than you . Still good to know my ship isnt too bad compared to the great petick's.

Time to invade and colonize has fallen further to the point invasions are nearly possible daily. Research cap is however making this optimum credit gain more difficult and I would imagine a fair chunk of research is lost due to capping when afk, however the combination of increased research and mining overall has certainly lowered the time it takes to invade/colonize, despite all of the popular wisdom suggesting that I would be needing mining focused worlds.
A possible hitch that may throw my finances into disarray for a while will be the new ct lab designs, as I intend on throwing all my research at ours until all the designs are found. I will probably have to sell off some artifacts/ctp for a while at that point to fund upkeep and invasions, but I am not too worried about that being a serious problem.

We are past the hypothetical daily invasion point. My zero mining world build remains, despite all conventional wisdom, highly functional. Mining has ballooned as my ap/hour has enabled more and more 15-22x planets to be found, each of which normaly provides a good amount of passive mining on the side. However for the sake of fairness I must state that I currently have about 1.5-2k mining per hour coming from mining worlds I am currently holding in prep for my travels during bane when they will be taken by legion-mates who do run mining. On the flipside however I feel the calculation is fine because the passive mining from ap worlds added to replace those slots will come out to around the same amount. Either way you come to figures less than 24 hour invades. The fact I currently have a 2.2tn pot with no sales of ctp or em in recent times (the converse infact) demonstrates that while the hypothetical credit production is obviously untenable (due to research capping in under 4 hours) My ship is fending off the warned of credit shortage I would supposedly end up facing by now.

Finaly, I must admit, I am tempted to move to a medium 4002 deck build. An increase of my cylcopean buffs by 3%, access to the ravyn chains blue badges actualy have some use and silvers make 2:1s as well as the big, repeatable 20% cloak 2000 ap storage corruption market arti is attractive. I'm on the tipping point.

Case of if its a goal, but its lower priority than expanding ap so I'm not going to be too eaten up about slow progress)

Reach 8th on the hacksboard, currently at 12th @ 12689 hacks (Down 2 places and up 359 hacks, I really dropped the ball on this one, however with my new larger ship build meaning I can set my ship to a dual npc and pvp build I should be able to get back to working my way up the board, though with the new blue requiring mission and hack boosting mod there will be some stiffer competition to face!)

Theoretical income further increases. Research growth from now on is effectively halved thanks to the hyperturbine eating 100 scientists from every set of 200 of each artifacts. The ZMB remains perfectly functional. However, as expected (despite many naysayers believing they wouldn't be released at all) the release of the new ct lab designs married with what has been effectively daily invasions for almost 6 weeks from starting traveling has eaten far into my credit stockpile. for context for how my build works during normality, since release I have sunk into various research topics and ct labs 100m research, a credit value of 2.5tn, which if were instead changed into credits would put me at plus 600bn rather than -1.9tn on octobers update.

Ap growth continues well, quality over quantity being maintained as well as a healthy stockpile of cloak % artis stored up (folds and where possible worlds above cookie cutter vm being the current restraint).

As for the real crux of this update, the transition to the 4002 deck build, killing my long standing ssb, I had been thinking about it a while. Dans really screwed over ssbs, gating two (now three) major bits of content behind the 4000 deck barrier is a big stick for those in ssb builds and the growth of the deck % based buffs a additional carrot. Eventually the moment the sileena chain came out I was fairly sure my mind was made up, real clincher came with the second missions hacking boosting passive ability (I absolutely love abilities that add extra rewards rather than simply make things easier) Am I sad to have had to make the move, absolutely. Do I think all ssbs should change over, absolutely not, that would make the game and ship logs far more dull. Do I applaud dan for managing to get me to make the move without absolutely killing the ssb build by changing up the damage cap? Yes, choosing where your deck count is one of the only ways of de-homogenizing the ships in the game. Do I think dan should ever do anything like a deck restriction above 4k in the future? absolutely not! More % based on decks is perfectly fine, a cloak one for instance we have yet to have, but complete content blockades on anything but the largest builds is not a good idea. And while I may no longer be a ssb, I will not be dropping the ZMB.

That said, I will appreciate the higher max scan to both locate cloaked planets more and increase defence against crit and counter crit hacks, the ability to avoid having to switch my ship up all the time to either a npc rank mode or pvp mode as a added side benefit to the 3% Cyclopean buff increase, new bt market items and two new chains.

two thoughts

1) good job, like your progress and think you have a great plan and are a fun player
2) you will NEVER pass me on hacks so get used to your postion on that leaderboard and maybe aim for raids?

Deaths has gone up a fair chunk since my last update but a good 25%+ of that is from legion alerts in the last 3 or so weeks, good times, I've not noticed that major a uptick in bt kills but I'd say theres maybe one or two more people willing to do reds on me.

Goals
Reach Quintuple marauder Currently at 22117/25000 (up 1707)
190k ap/hour (Complete!!!)
New goal: 200k ap/hour (Complete!!!)
New goal: 210k ap/hour (Complete!!!)
New goal: 220k ap/hour (Complete!!!)
New goal: 230k ap/hour (Currently at 202.2k/222.4k with excavator) (Up 37.3k!!)
Max solinya: currently at rank 71 (up 8)
get all 3 omnifield regulators: currently at 3/3 with 26 rounds done (Up 2 mods, up 12 rounds and complete!)

Maximize the Cosmic Rail, currently at 0 out of 21 (no change, dark badges are in too short supply as it stands with 3 magnetos and 2 accelerators required for each planet cloak, remaining on the list but on the backburner)

Reach 8th on the hacksboard, currently at 12th @ 14232 hacks (Status Quo on position, and up 1543 hacks, still been rather busy but made more progress recently. Efforts have been divided too in an attempt to defend my raidsboard spot from captain paul, currently ahead but will be retaking it at some point soon enough)

Complete the Sileena chain: currently on 7/35 on The Vvarix Truth (up 67, currently stalled as im stockpiling the datacores, and so cant complete the lm and then npc for 20hr, 124 datcores stored up, so 194/350 gained/used)

Complete the corruption chain: currently on 18/40 on Chamber of Lies (up 109, so glad I have the vision shaper and more key, the corrupted edifice unlocked. Makes cloaking new builds so much easier and when I have more than 3 extractors at any one time a refit to free up other cloak artis might be due, still got 106 corruption)

Temporal Containment Cage 6/6 (up 2 and ocmplete!, completed 6 days ago infact, another 25 action cap is great for extending the amount of actions each pvp run can take, very glad this is done!)

Oh how nice it is to be able to put some green here. Only got 1 autosync and 2 morphogenic suits to get for the full set, Glad to have had some luck with rolling the lms, and then successes to unlock the required tasks.

So for the first time since starting this finance section the time to invade and colonize has increased by a smidgen. I'd say this is probably due to the consumption of half of my android scientists by the theory lab and that I currently have a fair few project planets/cloak bricked planets awaiting work, producing next to nothing but increasing the planets owned stat. Regardless, this is mainly a theoretical thing as its not a issue given my credit supply has ballooned to over 4tn and thats after giving several trillion away. With the number of slots I have left anyway Im not hitting any kind of daily invasion atm, as much as I would like to be able to have that many planets that justify taking haha.
