I have a request. Please don’t see this as self-serving, even though it is, but those of us who have reached the rank 2200 have nothing to look forward to. Yes, you have come up with some new missions that use a great deal of energy with very little XP reward which, I think, are aimed at higher level people.
Our main problem is that we have no capability of getting the mass numbers of CTP that are required to do any kind of upgrading to bases or prismatic planets. You have taken all of the decent CTP producing elites away from us at rank 2000.
Something needs to be done. As I look at it, this can be done in 3 stages:
1. Re-enable all the elites that were taken away at rank 2000. The ones taken away at 2200 are made up with the Dark Mass Carrier. Not the same number of artifacts as the four that were removed, but it helps. Easy to implement, change the rank max to 9999.
a. Why do we need this? Many of the artifacts taken away at rank 2000 are still necessary all the way through the game. For example, what use is a Dark Null Beacon Upgrade if you cannot get a Dark Anti-Beacon to upgrade?
b. CTP. ‘nuff said. These artifacts give a much larger return for CTP.
2. Develop a new level of each of the active NPC races and the Special Event races geared for the higher levels. Once this occurs, you can start phasing out the things given back in step 1 above. Little more difficult, but easy enough to do, as the races already exist and scaling is not too difficult.
3. New ship items that need to be researched.
These items will make a good start to stopping the bleed of high level players.

if your major concern is ctp .. nothing needs to be done.

just spend some friggin credits and buy it off of the GTC. plenty of lowbies looking for credits.

would i support more content that is only available to higher ranks, especially NPCs ? sure. but not ones that give major ctp drops.

the rank 2200 issue has been known for the last FOUR YEARS (18apr2012 - happy anniversary). if you didn't plan for it, whining about it now just gets you laughed at (by Dan).

You can also sell planets for ctp. X15 worlds can get you between 8-12K ctp, start with VL Mega rich its only 30 days... 400 ctp a day in the break down

i sorta like te npc idea, but not really the ctp one. The more challenging it is to get ctp the more fun it may get. however the high ranks in my legion dont seem to be struggling to get enough ctp as long as they do enough npcing.
