General InformationFleets of ships, identified as the Elios, are migrating from settlements in the coronas of young stars in a number of different systems. The technology used to either shield or propel the Elios is causing major cosmic radiation feedback to surrounding areas. The Elios seem uninterested in helping to prevent the resulting damage of their movements, and due to this negligence, ships are asked to intercept them. During the Elios Migration, the following temporary effects apply to the entire Galaxy: -Exotic Matter is more common during mineral acquisition. -Cloning Pods require an additional 300 energy to use. -When scanning for planets, there is a chance that you will discover an Elios Solar Inverter. Elios Solar Inverter Upgrades an Elios Solar Drill on the target planet, adding +1 artifact and +1 mining to the structure. Costs 500 energy to use. ------------------------------------------------------------------MedalsSparks Fly Transfer your Sparkrunner Static to other players' ships of the following races (that do not already have the effect) by successfully hacking them. Aerlen, Konqul, Sillixx, Human, Inergon, Vygoid, Drannik, Genetarr, Taltherian, Zolazin Reward: 15 Medal Points + Design Unlocked: Sparkrunner ---------------------------------Hottest Tech Use a Cyclopean Lens Upgrade on your ship, or an Elios Warp Ring II Upgrade on your base. MissionThe Elios Migration Regardless of whether the Elios are causing this damage accidentally, we have to stop them... or billions will die. Contact them, and convince their fleet to back down... at least until we have further information. Cost: 90 energy + 1 Phase Cutter per round Reward: 150 Experience per round + 1 Elios Solar Drill upon completion 10 rounds per completion, daily mission. Elios Solar Drill Planet Structure: Size 1: Mining:3, Artifact: 1] If an Elios Helical Plant is already built on the planet, this gains +1 artifact. Limit 1 Scrap Value: 1-2 CTP It costs 100 energy to be placed and it can not be extracted. ------------------------------------------------------------------USTElios Mien Charges your ship with the aspect of the Elios, increasing your max energy by 3% for 1 hour Cost: 25 CTP.

Given that their appearance is not unlike other races, it is unknown how they came to reside in the hot regions of stars. Boosts planet production by 20 or 30%, for 1 or 2 days. These stats are chosen randomly. Scrap value: 12500 - 50000 credits

Transfers to another ship with a successful hack. This is required for the new Sparks Fly medal
Drops Elios Heatsink - Size 35, Energy 50, Hull 120. Upgrades by 50% to 500%. Ability when fully upgraded. Scraps for 16 - 33 ctp

anyone with under 14001 decks bought the lens upgrade? Wondering if its the previous bonus % you were getting *1.5, so 5001 decks was getting 6 and now gets 9 ect, or the deck cap has just raised from 9001 for 10% to 14001 for 15%

Just checked it out on my ship and it says what the passive is. passive on the heatsink is Code: Passive bonus (when fully upgraded): Whenever you fill your energy with a energy cube or Tri-Matrix Emblem, your max energy permanently increases by 2.
I mean... Its a thing...

Anyone know if a Sparkrunner is put on your ship by another player are you able to hack someone and transfer it to their ship to help yourself work on the medal?

So, doing the math, the new collectors change the max energy charge from 225/hour to 257/hour (potentially 258/hour depending on Dan math).
So, that's 32-33 extra energy per hour, or 768-792 extra energy per day. (This obviously assumes you were already at max and already have all of the other +charge modules installed.)

The language on the lens upgrade reads: Cyclopean Lens II Increases attack by 2% for each 1500 decks (unbuffed - rounded up) up to a max of 16%.
Is it me, or is that a shitty way of doing it? Why isn't it 1.5% for each 1000 decks?

That's very deceptive language. I think I kinda want a refund.

Yeah, I figured it would either give you an extra 50% bonus over what you would have had, but was afraid it would be adding an additional 50% of decks you could add on and get a bonus for. Seems like the actual solution is an even crappier version of how I was afraid it would...guess I'll skip upgrading. Not really interested in adding more decks right now.
