I would like to suggesting putting an indicator (that is always there) next to each artifact that shows if it can be shared, or has already been shared. The system we have now is not good because unless you have the ability to share an artifact at that moment you can't tell if it is one that can be shared in the future...thus you will most likely use an artifact that could have been shared later.
This should be a simple thing to do.
I know it may not matter to you real high lv players with boat loads of Exotic planets and thousands of artifacts but for me it is a real pain in the neck! I hate using an artifact that I could have shared with a friend first.

they already did this. if you can share it they have a share button, if not then its not there. if you already shared from that stack then its greyed out. same with the send button. its either there or its not.

The share button is blue when you can share it its gray when you already shared it. There's no share button if it cant be shared. I think Dan already made what you are requesting.

You guys are both wrong. If you have an active share timer going you loose all the blue/grey shared buttons wether you can share them or not...check it out for yourself.

I see where he's going with this. He wants something that tells him if it's sharable while he's waiting on the shipping timer to reset. It's only a 5-min wait man, just go grab a donut. :)

As long as the topic is up though, there is something that could be tweaked. Example: You have a stack of flux probes, say 24. You decide to share one of them. Now the entire remaining stack is unsharable.

I really don't think you've got an issue here...
If you have a share timer running, it means you can't share until the timer is done. As Remric said, it's already been done. If it is an item that CAN be shared, don't worry about using it because you're going to get plenty of them and so is the recipient.

Of course there's an even simpler solution to the "problem." Be a greedy bastard and don't share anything at all.

its a 24 hour wait and you cant see what can be shared when the wait is up, therefore you are likely to use a sharable item. I have got a valid point and it is a relatively minor issue to fix. I would appreciate Dan taking a look into it.

I understand its not a big issue to many of you. But I am a leader of a small legion with many players at low levels, they could really use the artifacts and isn't the whole point of the artifact sharing feature to make it so you can share artifacts with members who can use them? If I can't tell if they are share-able I am likely to use them and my smaller legion members will miss out on something that would have helped them kill that NPC and get the special weekly item before timer expires on the mission or another such circumstance. Its a small fix I am requesting, very small. Just make it so you can see the share button all the time, even after you just shared an artifact , let it be light up if its a sharable and unlight if its not, ....or put a box labeled "sharable" next to each artifact and let it be checked if its a sharable artifact and unchecked if its not. I really don't care what the exact fix is, whatever is the easiest for the programmers as long as right after you share an artifact you can tell if the rest of them are share-able or not.
