 Clearing planets from scanners?

So is there any other way to get planets off your scanners aside from the lucky draw of a star chart purge from a shipment? I have nothing but junk on scanners and i would have to spend a few weeks doing scanner research for scanners i couldn't hope to afford to have a chance at locating more planets.....assuming there isn't a lovely mission that is repeatable that drops star chart purgers, and i wouldn't want to afford the the amount of GP's it would take to purchase the darn things. Correction i have nothing worthwhile on my scanners not held by poeple way higher rank then me :(

any info would be appreciated.

I don't believe there is any Ungray req. Scan power maybe, but I don't recall any.

As near as I can tell, if there's an Ungray Requirement the mission box will say "You qualified for this mission from:"; Stellar Cartography doesn't say this, which is why I believe it doesn't have one.

Wormhole Emitters aren't what he needs, and you can't trade what he does need.

well i am fortunate that the money to buy them isn't actually an issue.....its only an issue in that i don't like bumming credits off legion members so i can buy scanners in the hopes of getting more good planets. They are more then willing to help out just wish i didn't have to rely on them so much.

going ahead with the research, going to take a while though. by the time i get there probly have access to the mission to get purgers so be working it on both ends :)

From the wiki on Stellar Cartography

Stellar Cartography

Mission Briefing

Our folks in the stellar cartography department have extended an offer to assist in the optimization of your star chart database. They are looking to acquire quantities of exotic matter in return. I'm sure you can both come to a deal of some kind.

Becomes Available Upon: Rank 115

Un-gray Requirements: ?

If you hit the enemy planets on your scan list once maybe the owners will be nice enough to flux them. The mission Controlling the Anomaly gives Temporal Flux Orb's that can be used to remove planets from others scan list if it has not been attacked in a week. So hit the planet once and wait a week to see if it goes away.

The problem with that is anything that a defender would consider worth using a flux/temporal flux on, probably isn't a planet you want to get off your scans.

there is an un-grey requirement, you need to have performed 300 scans, im still trying to get it, just another 40 scans to go.
