Excavator, Miner and possibly Vygoid fix

Each of these professions and one race give bonus to production I think they should get storage with that not cargo but planet storage for the one resource.
Excavator 10% 1100 storage per planet
Miner 10% 550 storage per planet
Vygoid 20% 180 storage per lvl
If these people specialize why do they not know how to store a bit more of it?
A thought.
