At the moment, there is no way to trade via players unless you add them to FB. I really do not want to add any one to my FB account (no offence).
Will you be able to set up a player to player trading post? or even a way for members to pay me (in game creds or minerals) for the sigs I'm making?

What about (to start), there would be a new diplomacy option called 'trade pact'? This would allow those legions' members to appear in the list when trading artifacts/minerals (it would only apply to trading, not sharing NPCs/planets). It would take up 1 diplomacy slot.

i would take dan's idea and add to it, this new diplomacy could be implemented, but in order to trade each legion would need a commerce bay in their legion base first. Right now the commerce bay ( at least for my legion) has no real use, ass almost all of the legion is contributing credits anyway. Further, the legion bases are not meant to be ATM machines, so i think that the commerce bay should be changed.

This will also make the bases .... more desirable In order for your legion to make trades, or art stack, they will need that legion base. Will you be able to implement a "trading" post or auction house in the future? Also, will bases be able to be hacked?

[ i mispelled it, comes in galactic commerce PS; i like how darious makes free signatures for us, it is AWESOME !!!!!!!

+1 it should be done via base commerce ..... yea I thought what members put in should stay like paying a tax. and +1 you should only be able to trade with like 2 legions..... help build those legion alliances

Well, a base is a good place for a legion to buy and sell goods (set prices I guess) between each other using base funds. A common place to store them (maybe a cargo pod adds to intrinsic storage limit).

Would you need to use 2 slots to have a NAP and Trade Pact with the same legion? Or could they be combined?

It seems like more of a next step in relations on a sliding scale. Should be 1 slot to store what you're set to.

Honestly, i dont think this should be a treaty. i think it should be a system where you type in a players name and what you want to send them. that way you dont have to burn energy and keep slots open for treaties. i mean, when you think about it, alot of players in this forum that request sigs or perform services for in game goods arnt officers in their legion. therefore, they cant set up treaties. its like, introducing a new feature, but only 10-5% of players have access to it. plus it will most likely be cancelled right after the player completes the transaction.
i think it would just be easier to have a 'Send' option in the trade tab, where you type a players name, or search for a player, select them, type what you want to send, and then send it. it would make the trading process MUCH easier than having to hassle leadership everytime you do something that requires payment.

We have promoted this idea to the list. It should help lessen the need for players to keep a complex friends list to expand their trading options.

Thank you Dan ! It just seems odd to have to add a member to you FB account just to trade items.

I am constantly giving money to the player in my legion to help them out with things. Lets say I need to send someone 100 million. I convert that to 67 kurenite (costing me 100.6 million). He then sells that that kurenite and only gets 80.1 million. Over the course of a few transaction the bank more than pays for itself. I think the best solution would be for the embassy to all different kinds of agreements. NAP, Trading, Alliance, Badges only
