This is an idea that would prevent legions from picking on the "little guy" of the legion. Recently, about ten players from a different legion pounded on a level 27 within our legion and we could not retaliate as he could not share them. The idea is this: Have the ability to "declare war" against another legion. There would be another page on the "Battle" page which would show a list of all ships in the other legion and would allow you to attack them. As ships get disabled, they are removed from the "war" and can only watch the battle. If a legion wins the war, they gain stats similar to the ships. A legion could therefore have a combat reputation, etc based off of how they have done in wars. This would add the consequence when attacking another player, of the legion declaring war on the other legion. You could also involve the Legion Base in this as the ultimate objective; destroy the other legion's base to win the war. I think this would add a new dimension to a good game, making it more enjoyable. Thanks for reading!

Actually, that's interesting. Formal declaration of war means you want them all over you tab, and you probably want their base too. I'm not sure exactly how it would be done, to preserve fairness though. The first thing that would happen is a higher legion declares war on a lower legion, then we get the abuse complaints etc. Nonetheless, I think it would be good if you feel like you are being abused by a legion, to retaliate with a war declaration, so perhaps certain criteria must be met.

i think if 4 offensive actions have been performed on a player by the same legion, then the victim can declare war on that legion, which will involve another tab on the pvp section which will be filled with their 10 players closest to your rank, cloak will not be taken into effect on this tab. disabled players will not show up and the next player in line for 10 closest ranks will replace their spot. essentially, if a player has a strong enough ship and enough null fuses they can disable an entire legion if they are not online.

idk. I'm thinking just a seperate 'war' tab, if you have 1 or more war conditions, so you have up to 5 normal random ppl and up to 5 ppl from war flagged legions. Otherwise, just the normal 10 on your regular tab.

+1 This is an idea that encompasses various concepts that have been suggested already, such as my Alliances and Neutrality declaration idea under the "Additional Diplomacy Options?" topic, and may need to be addressed with all ideas considered, yes?
