Ok well since you know Water expands when it turns to ice i was thinking What if (after a Gas Planet upgrade) we could get an Artifact that transforms a Oceanic into an Artic Planet making it one of the first planets that can go through 2 changes. Artic Planets cant be melted though. So i was thinking something like +1 size +1 Resources.
What do you think? I mean almost all planets that arent mission planets have upgrades except gases so after that we need to advance ( especially after base combat ) so going from Icy = Oceanic = Artic would be cool.

unfortunately there is no way any size upgrades will be applied to oceanic planets. they already can break the game by going to megacollosal, and they are not getting any bigger. you had an interesting idea, but one that would be better aimed at volcanics, terras, and deserts.

Hmm true, but you guys are saying were on the right track by going to upgrade Number 3. Lets see, what could be upgraded like that. Gases shouldnt be upgraded like that because they would also break the game going to megacolossal.
Also a good idea might be to Branch off what you could turn a Icy into, you could turn it into a Oceanic or Artic. So you could Melt it or Refreeze it.
You could come up with many combonations.

i like this idea, but instead of doing it to Oceanic, maybe were looking at the wrong idea. Icy planets are completly out of frozen water, so to melt that water it makes sense to make it into an oceanic. but Arctic as we know it is a land ecozone, so instead of making the oceanic into an arctic, why dont we try it with a Terra Planet instead?? make like an artifact that causes a global ice age.

just something to think about.

yup, and the Artifact should be given for a mission called Global Frost.

Global Frost: "There has been a Terra planet thats O-Zone is dispearsing due to the Green house gases trapped in the planet. Due to the rarity of Terra Planets we need you to create an Absolute Zero Magnifier to lower the temperature to extremly low levels."
Reward: Absolute Zero Maginfier (+1 size, +1 Arti, -1 Mining)
5 completions

Feel Free to play with the idea.
