ok, Ive got an idea for an arti that would give 200 passive invation def calledt he Insectoid Hive (name Editable). this Artifact would introduce a Insect Race into the wild that would help defend the local populace by attacking any of the troops landing outside of a city. i got this idea from starship troopers to some extent.
probly should be deployable on, Barren, Deserts, Toxic, or Terras. feel free to play with the idea

Too high. 50 defense is more like it. And even then we have an arti that does the same. But cool story bro.
~~~~I need to add this to my siggy lol.
why is that number too high when a region sheild does the same thing? i mean this arti can be expensive, not a cheap little toy.
+1
It's not to high at all; maybe it should be even higher. It probably wouldn't stop me but it might slow me down.
lol, i didnt even think of star wars there. plus they dont count, they were an actual Humanoid race. im talking about like 10 foot tall bugs clawing through the forest after you, or you falling into an entrance and getting dragged away type bug. like in Starship trooper if you need a reference.
No I killed plenty of them in republic commando. They look like bugs to me. Anyway I'm using already added artis as reference. The eruption chamber is 50 extra attack. Your saying Invasion defense, and 200 might work for that.
yup, see what im talking about? it works. altho maybe we should have Eruption chamber type of artis. like this Insectoid hive. not really affecting the actual attack but id decreases the chance of someone taking your planet.
How about making it a revenge artifact. It's invisible in the line up until a planet is conquered. Then it activates and kills the planet's population growth dead for, say, a week. It also aids any attempt to recapture the planet.
How much it gives depends on how difficult it is to get. +1 to the idea of Passive Invasion Defense
well Farrus it would be kinda hard to determine how difficult a planet is to get. (or did you mean the arti?) and well another way to look at the Invasion is maybe by planet size? if Dan can do that
How much Invasion Defense you get from such an artifact would depend on how difficult it is to obtain said artifact. +1 to the idea of an artifact for passive Invasion Defense.
I like this idea. maybe they should implement revenge artifacts/traps for planets. say something like a rebel camp that sabotages production of the planet by 25% for every production building they have on the planet.
well i like the revenge artifacts, and this kind would work as one. i mean as an invading force they wouldnt be use to what it takes to defend themselves from the bugs so they would take time to adjust and develope safty protocals to prevent ppl from being eaten. i like it.
