This morning, I was about halfway from leveling up so I decided to use an energy cube, planning to shuttle the excess energy into the base. However, instead of being able to use the 3+k energy I wanted to, it capped at 2000. No where does it say there is a cap. I've donated big sums before and I don't remember it ever having a cap. Looking at the donations of energy others have made, I can't believe that they would have made that many 2k donations.
If this cap is new, it should be noted in the release notes. If it is not new, it should be posted somewhere on the donation page so people don't plan refills around this hidden cap.

Part of what I'm saying is that it should say (Up to Current amount, capped at 2000) or something like that so people don't refill expecting to donate more before they level up.

I wish that energy cap per transfer to go away.. It gets annoying to repeat contributing 2k every time plus refills sometimes lose out some experience. For example, you need to level up with 7000 exp left to go and you use energy cube to get 10k energy (assuming that you have 10k energy pool) then put 2k everytime but when you put 4th set of 2k in , you level up missing out last 2k energy so it is all wasted.. If no cap exists then no energy will be wasted. Heck, contributing to base has worst energy to exp ratio so why waste energy even more for refills thanks to cap?

yeah, +1 to removing the cap. im just about to hit 2k energy, so this has never been a problem for me, but i can see where it would be good to remove it in the long run.

Personally, I think the experience to energy trade is rediculous. no mission pays off that bad. At least make it 1.5x
