 I changed "interior defense" into "armory equipment" to include offensive raid modules.

Well, we don't have the core programming of the game. Then it would the ship itself, and not a paintover of the actual model. Besides, I'm sure Dan could pull it off, and players would love these options. Also, you should be able to name your ship.

I continually bump my old threads once a similar idea comes up. I do it in hopes of more inspiration to my ideas and to broaden the ideas of others.
