For Galaxy points should allow a ship respec... for those of us that know nothing about making a ship and messed up big time....

this has been suggested, and sadly impossible. the reason is that the game didnt keep track of what points where spent where. so if someone like reverus or psicore decided to 'reset' and could subtract his rank points from certain stats, they could withdraw them all from cargo, and wind up with an extra 5000+ rank points to spend on tac officers or engineers.
