OK so how about a repeatable mission thats short and when you complete it you get that extra tab for the new boss/npc .. that means it can still be random asteroid composition but not annoy the high hell out of npc hunters

also means that cuz the missions short you dont waste 1000s of energy for a simple very common asteroid

I like it! The mission could be "Scan sector for Kurenite" or whatever, each step might give you 5 or 10, complete a cycle for an encounter that gives you 100 when you blast it. (those numbers are just examples.)
