Way to report cyber-bullies in game?

I currently have a player who has decided to obsess and pick on me, including repeated attacks when I have not responded or retaliated. I understand that this is a game and that I (obviously) will not win every battle, but this ass's actions are utterly ruining my enjoyment of the game. If they don't stop soon, then I will quit playing. Is there a way to report this cyber-bullying and/or block him from all further interactions with me? (I've already blocked him on Facebook general, but they don't have a forum for blocking or reporting cyber-bullying in game.)

Best way is to make friends and also join organization to protect you from those cyber-bullies.. Basically, if you are on target list, you are open for any attacks.. If you are triggered with an alert by other legion, you are "open season". GL is currently PVP intense enivornment. Developer is re-working on alert system I believe that should help to equalize the rank range for PVP rather than having rank 200 player to farm on rank 10 player just for fun..

Oh by the way.. If you want some protection from those cyber-bullies who love to prey on you for no reason, join my DOO organization and we are ones who destroy those aggressors and we defend our legion mates from any aggressors ferciously. That way you don't need to leave GL. ;) More players into GL, the merrier it will be..

I've got the same issue... a guy 22 levels higher than me continually ganks me and steals my items and research points. I've done nothing to retaliate, but it doesn't matter.

Actually, most Legions protect lower level players against higher level " bullies" , sometimes though, you are the unknowing victim of a Legion alert, my Legion Stormkyn Alliance, we try to attribute our Alert responses so the person knows why and I kinda frown on "piling on" like is practiced by some.

Understandable, but the guy who is bullying me right now has a legion size of 1. I have one other guy in my legion presently, a buddy from work who is also a newbie like me.

I will never join any group, EVER. I beleive all these groups kill PvP. First of all, YOU HAVE NO IDEA IF THE PERSON YUR KILLING IS A MEMEBR OF A GROUP, second of all, THE CONSTANT HACKING, RADING AND DISABLING MIGHT MAKE SOMONE STOP PLAYING THE GAME. If I were Baracuda I would put facebook groups in his KILLING THE GAME thread. The one I hate the MOST is Dark Side, they constantly hack ppl which makes em lose all planets and research points, they wont be able to do much research, and EVERY SINGLE PLANET THEY KNOW ABOUT WILL BECOME OWNED BY THE DARKSIDE

Nobody's name has been posted to the dark side board yet even. It's sort of an unjustified fear. I would post someone but the only people that pick on me are from DOO. It would end up getting one of the fledgling members destroyed probably. I wish someone would post a name of someone of a decently high level to pick on. I have a bunch of artifacts I've refused to scrap wasting all my cargo space.

Heh, yeah.. Players with legion size of 1 are usually the ones who like to start fight and pick on weaker people cuz they had no other legion members to assist but themselves. But, if they enjoy being solo fighters, more power to them. It's their choice.. But more than often, whenever players with legion size of 1 pick on any DOO members, I come to defend those victims, legion 1 players whined at me telling me that I was bullying them? I thought it was funny considering that they are ones who bullied defendless legion members in first place.. They simply got outbullied by me and other stronger DOO members..

I hate any facebook ghroup alliance, and hope that in-game alliances get added to remove this, this, I cannot think of a word to describe it.

Yes, perhaps I can agree. I've heard a single disable/hack leads to a whole lot of retaliation by the groups.
Case:
Player 1 hacks player 2 for 100 research points and went to sleep
Player 1 wakes up to find ship disabled, hacked 20 times and raided twice.
Player 1 is just playing the game. Those in the group just automatically 'attacks' this shared Player 1 ship. Who needs protection now??

Why do the group members just attack/hack/raid the shared ship automatically without a second thought? No fear as they are backed by others?
What about accidental shares? How can you explain this to the victim who is suddenly disabled/hacked/raided?
Due to the nature of these groups, I doubt the victim will be compensated in any way whatsoever. Who knows, the unlucky victim may just becomes a punching bag for a week or so...

DISCLAIMER: This case is what I think is happening but I cannot confirm as I am yet to experience such an incident.
If this is really happening, perhaps in-game groups/alliance/etc should be implemented as soon as possible to reduce this problem.
It kills the game, discourages PvP, and forces players to leave the game. (due to excessive bullying)

This IS happening, as it happened to me. I hacked a random player for 67 research, went to sleep, and awoke to find that I had been disabled. At first I thought, oh well. Then, an hour later I returned to that game to find that I was disabled AGAIN. I hacked the guy who had disabled me, which of course prompted more retaliation. It took ME posting on his wall to find out what was up for the actions to stop. I have no idea if they were members of one of the groups, but if these groups want to stick around, and be treated with respect, they should do a little messaging of their own first, and find out if their actions are warranted or not. Otherwise it's called "Shoot first, ask questions later." ;) Ironically, they would be 'cyber-bullies' at that point.

I recalled someone said... 'disable/hack/raid them till they beg for mercy/truce'... not sure where I heard this. I thought it was meant for bullies, but now it seem to be for those who randomly hack/disable people. (especially those who do it in moderation and not 10x on the same target in a short amount of time)

Sig updated. Included a link to my 'old and dusty' alliance thread. :)

That's not cyber-bullying. You hacked someone and were retaliated against, you should expect that to happen when you take offensive action against another ship.

I really don't understand the mentality of people who want to hack/attack without retribution.

Pretend that you're walking down the street and you see a guy walking the other way. For no reason in particular you punch that guy in the face and keep walking. First thing is that guy comes after you and punches you in the face, then he calls his buddies out from the bar he just left and they all take turns punching you.

Why do you expect social rules to be different in Galaxy Legion? If you want to attack/hack/raid people, fine, but be ready to be attacked by their legion, repeatedly.

That's all fine and dandy if the person you're attacking first is at least someone of equal rank and experience. What about when someone who is 20+ ranks higher than you and continually picks on you over and over and over again to the point where it's no longer fun to play? You can't even retaliate against someone like that.

I didn't! He started it! I know better than to pick on someone 20+ levels higher than I am. I'm no idiot. I like to mind my own business and level up through missions and work on my planets. This guy just keeps attacking me over and over again because he's an ass.
