How do you create a successful Legion? I want to create a mighty legion, but i dont know where to start, do you have any suggestions guys?

get others interested before you start that way you are able to work together to recruit

You have to be a good leader, Many people think they are, but lack the personal qualities.
Should also be well liked and Known.
and if you want a strong legion.
You yourself must strong compared to the majority in the game so you can defend your legion members from enemies regardless of there strengths.
Another thing, you can't be a noob, there was this guy who wanted to buy terraformers for 100 exotic matter each.. i loled at him.

Not everyone has the abillity and potential to create and maintain good legion..
Personally, i think i done very good job leading Delta Surfers (The place literally falls apart thrice when i wasnt not there), but im beginning to outgrow them so i passed leadership down.

Perserverance. At first a legion might not seem to be going anywhere memberwise and you will get buried under hordes of new legions cropping up. That's when you need to start messaging legionless players, and asking small legion to merge with you. You can also try recruiting on the forum but that is generally for well established or strong legions.
You must be the most active person in the legion unless you have co-leaders willing to share the burden(people that you trust). You should be above average strength for your level and have high production. You have to know the game well enough to answer any questions that arise and take a firm hand in the leadership role. Your members must have respect without thinking you are a jerk.

To create a good legion you need:
- an amazing leader who knows how to deal with other legions
- plan before you make it, recruit others
- the leader should be high ranked to help bring in players
- you need to be strong, your ship should be capable of defending your whole legion
- the leaders/officers NEED to be fearless
- you also need to be active in chat
- advertise your new legion on the fourm


(O, and do not be discouraged if your legion does not go well, it is extremly difficult to start a new legion)

Also... I would suggest have at least 2-3 more players like yourself that wanted to start a legion. That way, you are not the only one carrying the team. Best if they too have the same visions and goals. Good Luck! Get members at the same rank or "resources" as you do. Getting "just" any players is not really a wise decision. And if your really not up to giving 110% your better off joining a legion than making one

I agree here. Having you own legion is a responsibillity, not an advantage, members are not soldiers for you to command however members expect you to be the best, and you being able to supply them with stuff, take care of them and protect them. If you can't do those things, they will leave. Best you joiin a legion rather than start a new one from scratch, unless you have plenty of friends willing to join the minute you start. Must consider legion base as well.

lol ya now since im leader of the delta surfers whenever somthing goes wrong theres multiple posts and even comm messages saying what do we do?!?!? but i love being leader of i. moral of this story you need to be ready to make a legio0n cause as leader people come to you for help

also i rushed into legion ownership 2 times without being prepared and had 2 legions break apart on me so i know from experiance its more responsibility than you think

Oh yah, another way to become leader of a legion is join a new legion and impress the leader, might take a while depending on legion. hehe blakespon

ya thats my favorite way of doing it. then i dont have to worry about knowing people preparing ect.

hi,ive started my own legion even though i am a low rank member,we are 2 weeks old now and have 30 odd members who are all differant ranks. we have a good solid base which has a good amount of funds.when i started the legion,within 2 or 3 days i had all these members so i decided that the best thing to do was give 2 of them promotion.dont know if its just luck but so far so good but the only thing bothering me is,there isnt much communication.
