I wonder why the restriction of 2k of energy contribution each use is in place? It's annoying at best.. I would like to see it removed so less typing and clicking. Unless Dan might hate us to have 10k energy in the pool while we only need 10 xp to rank up and wants us to waste 8k energy with that 2k energy restriction?? I would like to burn all 10k energy that I earned into base even if I have only 10 xp to rank up. I just hate to see all energy that I saved up to go waste all cuz I was offline for too long?

Thanks!

I really have to agree with this, no particular reason not to let us do it.

This could be good for those that can't get to the comp for some reason and get a lot of energy.

Yeah, someone I forgot suggested that before in other thread but deeply buried somewhere and I totally agreed.

Edit: I found a thread on that same topic.. viewtopic.php?f=6&t=7189&hilit=2k+cap

Yep. Why should they pay penalty for investing so much rank points into engineers if they can't utilize them fully the exactly the same way as fighters invest so much rank points into tactical officers and are able to utilize them fully? It doesn't make any sense..

Oh! I realized another penalty is that base energy contribution is 1 exp to 1 energy ratio which is acceptable but 2k cap isn't.. That's DOUBLE penalty. That's too much.. Removing 2k cap would make 1:1 ratio to be more attractive and more reasonable..

+1 I agree it is too much of a double penalty to those who would contribute to a base as it gets to be higher level.
