seriously, It costs twice as much as a dark pyramid except way more useless, who cares if you waste 5 energy for 30 arti points (your always gonna get arti points if there's no mining points because you're always gonna have some leftover from the shipments.) dark pyramids are much more useful even if you find like only 80 research points form hacking, it's better and cheaper.
in the end, wtf is with spy probe resources? the weapons and defense probes cost only 250 arti points and there's no use to it, just randomly raid.

It DOES help you know how much Arti points and Mineral points are on a ship which then you can use to determine how much you would get from a sucsessful raid. BUT i do agree they are pointless. all the spy probes need to be updated to serve a dual function. I just DONT KNOW WHAT YET

im collecting them for the mylarai pact mission. before that mission i have never needed them, and after than mission i probably will never need them again. if a useful ct lab artifact is released they may be in more high demand, but until then theyre a waste...

However, i have now changed my mind, there are very useful for pvp. There just not useful at low ranks.

they are used in the Spy Probe Governance, which tells you if the owner of a planet is active or not.

btw, has dan changed the governance probe to show if theyre online or not yet? i know this was discussed, but honestly unless you have a weak ship, you dont need a spy probe governance.

I used one on a planet I gave to a guy who is in our legion temporarily, and he can't hold onto planets really cause he's only level 40 right now so I checked and it said the guy was active.
