We really need a common artifact planet.

Okay, interesting point: I have almost as many artifact planets as research, although most people complain about how rare good artifact planets are.

Even though, I do not struggle for research as most of the research is good.
I struggle for artifact, as most of my artifact are terrible.

Aye. But we also have Mylari and there is a good chance the Kronyn are research.

yeah, mylarai was introduced for players who have trouble paying upkeep cause they level so slow they cant colonize planets fast enough to pay for their ship. but taltherian was the first race introduced that could raise resource levels, and it was artifact levels for a reason. artifacts are always in high demand, so in order to fix the problem of having to introduce new types of planets, a new ability was introduced instead... which i prefer. now if im patient enough i can get collosal 15x artifact worlds. as many of them as i want. i think kronyn is just picking up the slack of the resource improvement abilities. it would seem wierd to have one that increases artifact and mining, but not research.

anyway, is anyone else bummed out that the kronyn are orange and not blue? i was really disappointed when i saw that...

Yes kinda wanted them to be Greenish-Purplish-Redish or somethng bright and vibrant or dark. Also i plan on trying to go Kronyn if its even a race(there is always the mystery), Could make Very Massive or Colossal 15x Mega Rich Research planets. Also it would make sense to put in a research race because of the implemented CT Lab, i mean 32K a try. Also it would help lower levels with research, if it was available at a low rank.

Gas's are Common Planets. They're Purpose is research

Volcanic, Toxic and Barrens are Common too. And They're purpose is research.

However, there is no Common planet that has Artifact as it's purpose. Only Rare.

I think you mean mining for Volcanic Toxic and Barren. Also yes there is,(Btw toxics arent common but true they act like they are) Icys, there are even commoner as toxics they mainly have Research or artifact mainly artifact

I have Scanned:
117 Artifact Planets. I own 25 of them.
209 Mining Planets. I own 14 of them.
123 Research Planets. Own 17 of Them

And I scanned(Note soon going on scanning blitz):
53 Artifact planets. 12 are mine(1 is Ex Rich in 2 things)
111 Mining Planets. 9 are mine
68 Research Planets. 12 are mine.(the one that is ex rich in 2 things)

I see your point, but usually the artifact planets are better than the mining planets or research planets so it does balance it out.
