Still waiting on a go/no go on this since this would be a big game enhancer it needs to have a lot of time put into it so it would be good to know very soon so it can get started.

There really isn't such thing as a go/no go for these kind of ideas. Some of them simmer on the back burner and get picked up over time. With so many new NPCs coming out, the focus at the moment is on enemies

Dan acts like a dev I have talked with for a while. Seen Frizz (maker of Drop Shock), start Facebooking the game, set that on the back burner. Start on a new set (the game has modules (Mods), mekas/Tanks (Uniits), and buildings) (Still not done but it will changwe the game when done). He is now doing final dev testing on something that will change how the game works, which change a bit on how it will work since he said it almost a year ago.
Dan sets goals, starts work on something big, does something small. Tweeks something to work better. The same pattern. Being a dev is not a walk in the park. You can have ideas/plans a mile long. But when a focus is on the way to its final stage and then hits the game. The feeling of getting something people love and not being totaly broken at first glance. Could make any dev happy.
Though if the players use a tool in a way the dev could not see (nor might not have wanted). For said dev it gets hard, let the players use how they found a way to use said update or just nerf it to hell.
