cloaking and hacking

 not sure where this was best to be posted so I'm gonna just post it here
why is it that when I go to hack someone, and it says the CLOAKING isn't strong enough, yet it is scanning power AND cloaking are what effect your hacking potential? _________________   |

i think ability to hack is just cloak vs cloak while chance of success is both cloak and scan

Ability to hack is YOUR cloak vs. TARGET's scan. Your chance of success is cloak + scan vs. cloak + scan.

your cloak has to be higher than their scan and your scan has to be higher than their cloak ( I think ...LOL)

Use a Dark Pyramid Cloak, they last for hours
