I learned something regarding Planet Vortex Deflectors today. If you're going to use one, do it AFTER setting up your sentries, traps, etc., because you can't set them up after you use the Deflector.

Since it doesn't remove any effects from a planet, as long as you set up your sentries and whatnot first, you should be good to go!

EDIT: You can't build artifact structures afterwords either...

yeah, someone was trying to goad me into using one after I used my aegis shield on a 5x mega-rich planet that they shared to ~300 people. I got a flux not long after but waited till the aegis had 12 hours left to use it just to be a #*&$. Someone blew up all my mission reward structures with crimson cluster missiles. I was lucky that I was aware of this fact.

Actually, what's worse is that I had a feeling it would work that way, but since the vortex came up first in my list of artifacts, I used it first. Then I smacked my forehead repeatedly.
