ok we all can agree that the research daily reward is depressing but Insignia of Independence is cool its not as good as a tri matrix emblem but its still a good reward i think dan should chuck the research daily reward and keep the Insignia of Independence as a permanent reward.

I would rather have its named changed a tiny bit then just stay as a part of the Daily chance.
Research and credits might be weekish but free is free. I would rather add to the pool then take them away.

WHAT IF
you can choose up to 5 items to pick from in the daily reward
Right now we have
Energy Cubes Trimatrix Emblems Credits Research Rank Points GP
now, research is still very important, especially at low ranks. but once you get past rank 150 the amount recieved just isnt substantial. i remember when i was around rank 40 and id get almost 90 minutes of research, but now i dont even get 30. most players that are mid to high rank in the eyes of dan dont really need the research anymore but they need ship buffing artifacts instead.
so what if we can choose 5 rewards that we randomly recieve in the daily. GP is a freebie because its so rare, and seasonal items take priority over the list. that way players who are snail levelers can choose to get research, rank points, credits, ship buffing artifacts, and minimize energy gains. however energybuilds and deck heavy players can maximize rank points, ship buffs, and energy artifacts.
not only would this system allow players to choose what type of rewards they want to recieve and give them the illusion of controll, but it would also open the door for introduction of new artifacts into the daily reward that players could have a chance to get.

why does it add 7 shields and hull
why 7?
My hull count is now wierd... im used to seeing the hull count end in 0 or 5

my hull hasn't ended in 0 or 5 ever since i added the kalvium plating

luckily, credits actually scale. im at rank 325 and im getting close to a billion in credits, which is about one days upkeep, which is right.

My research (at rank 67) is 637/hour. if I get research as a reward, I get around 900.
Less than 90 minutes worth.
If research was scaled to be x hours worth of PRODUCTION, rather than rank based, things would be far better.
