Hi, i saw someone playing this in school and thought i check it out.

but i dont know what race and profesion i should go with or how to build the ship as i level up.

What i want out of the game is "have the best ship for pvp" mostly aiming to pvp other then other stuff.

first you will want to find a good legion, I recommend The Oncoming Storm, Star Fleet, or Darkwind. These legions are more focused on NPC hunting, if you're wanting a PVP legion look for Steel Talons, that is a mercenary training legion and they and their main legion Talon Company are good at what they do. They will be able to teach you everything you want to know.

Also, look around the forums, especially here in the beginners hub for useful information. And never forget to check the wiki on artifacts, npcs, and planet information.

Consider joining Vygoid Genome. We're a tight group of around two dozen, where everyone has a say in concerning who/what we attack/conquer and when. You'd be right in the thick of things in our legion, as we have several other players just starting out, and are working hard towards a Level 4 Base. The group itself has grown to 480% of its former size in just the past three weeks.

Ok So Kalos already let you know about the Talon faction of which Steel Talons would be the place for you. Coming to the forum to look for information shows good thought from you. There is much here to help you grow. At a beginning level Kongul is the best race for PVP action, later on you may decide on others. Professions I would say fixer or builder would be the best to start. Later on you can get artifacts to changes to different races and professions that you might want. So I hope to see you joining Steel Talons so we can help train you to be the best at PVP.

Or go with my suggestion get the bonus on your attack and hull and go with Steel talons to get the research and artis from our base. I think you will find my way will give you the best advantage at PVP right from the start instead of once you finally high enough to get enough research and arti storage to get good stuff.

If you want a heavy PVP ship, pick Konqul Fixer .

But i seriously recommend Vygoid Excavator, they're probably the best race from rank 1 - 250 , pick pvp/npc ships after that.

it is really personal preference, human works good if you want to rank fast, vygoid works best if you want to have the best modules (i.e. weapons, scanners energy systems etc.), Sillix lets you have more deck space so you can put more modules on. Alerlen is good if you want to take less damage in fights, and Konqul is best for dealing more damage in fights and taking planets.
Inergon adds more energy storage which would be very good if you aren't going to be as active.

Professions are more personal choice IMO

Find a good legion, and my advice would be go to the battle tab and start fighting people right away, and attack anything uncommon or rarer for NPC ships (NPCs are on the top, players in range are on the bottom)

Good luck and the game really gets much better as you advance in it and it is much better to have a legion you can be friendly with.

Come to star fleet federation cmnd, we are a mixed pvp and npc legion and accept all ranks, we are also allied with some very strong legions in the game

If you're really into PvP you might consider the slow-level build. I know the Ancient Untouchables are good at that, but I don't know their standards for joining. One of the made a thread about it, I'll see if I can find it.

thanks ferrus that thread is preety old and we have changed some rules from there, we are a tight group of slowranking hard pvper's please consider us if you like pvping alot and want a very helpfull nice legion
as for the requirments if you want to join ur legion pm me or anyone from ancient untouchables and they'll let you know
