As a relatively new player (Rank 30), I figure this is possible the right area.

I was part of a relatively small legion (about a dozen people) from the day I started the game to today (about two weeks).
This evening, I discover that I, along with all other members, had been kicked by one of the three Leader-ranked users.
We had been working collectively to upgrade the base, and were near reaching lv. 3.
Another user (one of the three Leaders) had also deposited nearly 600 million credits for base upkeep.

As it appears, the only people currently left in the Legion are him and his professed side account.
All of us were pretty active in the guild, so kicking due to inactivity is not a possibility.

What I'm asking is, is it possible the Leader kicked everyone so he could take advantage of everyone's collective efforts to the base production and have them all to himself?

Not namedropping for the sake of caution.

Maybe a Time Bomb player? Pranking player? He joins a legion, tries to be all sweet and lovely and gets a leader promotion and then kicks everybody.
Regardless, the leadership for that legion is screwed up, find a better legion like Intergalactic Destroyers.

We share credits, planets, artifacts, and have each others' backs, doing whatever it takes to make the each member's ship, and consequently the legion as a whole, stronger. If you started two weeks ago, regardless of your current rank, you'd be right in the thick of things in our legion, as we have nine players over Rank 60 and nine players under Rank 50, and are working hard towards a Level 4 Base.

We're active on chat throughout the day and are equally distributed across the United States for the most part, meanwhile the group itself has grown to 480% of its former size in just the past three weeks and we frequently conquer planets or battle elite NPCs one or more times every single day.

well he wont get much from the base when the loyalty from every member disappears

i understand how you feel, and you have my sympathy. however i recognise this INST a recruitment feed lol. but this does raise a good point tho... i have experienced the devastation of a mutiny, as the leader i was shocked when one of my trusted officers booted all our members >:[ we would have accepted them back, but had no form of contact.... i think this needs a solution. some immediate ideas spring to mind:

having a player tab similar to NAP tab... all current and past members can be seen here.... they can be invited back to join or ignored.
having legion rules similar to base that grant access to who has power in the legion and what powers they posses, booting and promoting wise.

You can join starfleet federation cmnd, we accept all ranks and you can have the security of a larger legion and alliances with top fifteen legions
