Okay, I know you can upgrade a Mission Exotic beyond Massive 13x Mega Rich, with an additional pair of Terraforming Devices and a Quasi-Spacial Expander, until it is Very Massive 15x Mega Rich. So my question is...

Are there ways to improve a Mission Dyson beyond Colossal 28x Mega Rich, and if so, how?

You can use Kronyn Datacubes, but I wouldn't recommend that. You'd be better off using those on a focused research planet, such as a Colossal Plasma.

I do not agree with you. I put all my Kroyn Datacubes on my Mission dyson.
The reason is the 10k passive bonus really help protect your investment.

A Colossal plasma is more easy to find, invade and flux, compare to a mission dyson.

I used my cubes on my mission exotic, after the QSE and TFs to bring it up to being an VM research fortress, while I use my mission dyson for artifact production. But then again that all comes down to personal playing styles.

I agree with KarlLitos for not agreeing with you for the reasons he stated.

While it's true that it could be more easily taken, eventually you'll probably want to use your Mission Dyson for artifacts, so the Datacubes would be mostly a waste anyway.

I use my dyson for artifact but still put cubes on it.
Omnibase, and many artifact give arti + research.

multi-ressource structure best put on dyson and exotic planet, so even on a arti dyson, it's a good idea.

Yeah, but it'll have more effect on a dedicated Research planet.

To get the most out of them, save them for a 17x Mega Rich Research Colossal Plasma. If you're worried about losing them, use them on a mission planet, or just keep them in your cargo.
