I really do enjoy this game a lot.

At 1,500 Decks you become a Leviathan and I would have to guess that in a movie, book or in some galaxy far far away... that would be a HUGE ship. The star ship Enterprise (TNG) had about 26 decks (though that number changed a couple of times during the show) I'm not a treky but I loved that show. Anyway my point is that at 1,500 Decks your ship would be so big it could hold another ship inside of it. It might be beyond the scope of this game as it currently is. But I think having access to a second tab with a second ship would be really cool, that ship would be limited in size 1/4 the current size of your ship. It should start as rank one and aside from the rank cap function in all ways as a normal ship. It would have to gather it's own resources, do it's own missions, fight it's own battles and so on. The shuttle would require access to a legion like a normal ship, meaning you could have it join your currently legion and take up a spot or have it join another legion. This means that one player could be a member of two legions at the same time, though no benefits would/could be shared, only that a player could be apart of two groups instead of one. There is a lot that could be added, limited and described here but I think that gets the idea across. I enjoy my rank and will continue to rank up but I think it would be kinda cool to have access to a second ship without having to break any rules making a second account.

-1 If you in no way want a second ship (or something similar to control).

+1 to the concept of a second ship,-1 to how you get one, I was thinking that the galactic council would let you have 2 ships but if the two ships interacted in any way, it would result in a perma-ban.

aye, clearly not a trekkie

USS Enterprise NCC 1701-D (from Star Trek:The Next Generation) had 42 decks...
Deck 1 being the main bridge, and Deck 36 being main engineering

it could be a scouting party that looks for those uncommon+ NPC's and you have to spend 50 energy or something to have a look at what it has found

How about at a certain rank, your ship gets an automated drone, which you can send to planets. It can:

*Sabotage enemy defences, lowering the planet's attack/defence
*Guard a planet, giving it an attack/defence boost (x% of your ship's bonus)
*Boost resource production on a certain planet
*Attack a planet alongside your ship, increasing invasion chance

It would only be able to perform one of these actions at a time, and it would have an overall cooldown timer.

Having a second ship would be awesome, but i think it would have to be tweaked..... reduced amount of cannons ect*

new ship module tab..and research tab

Fighters:
research and build different grade ships that would add to your attack/defense
some npc ships will be able to "high-jack" and add to your on-board fighter squadron

I was thinking more of an offensive craft.

You can have up to 5 shuttles in your bay. this would open up a new tech tree called assault craft.

These crafts would be used only to raid a ship that has not been disabled.

You can have up to 5 that require you to build. and they would also req minerals or credits like your ship does now to maintain. and your only allowed to used them once every 24 hrs.

This way you can perform 5 raids a day, if you have 5 created, and not have to disable a players ship. However the ship is a lot smaller so you would only get 50% the normal raid if you succeed.

Also the other ship would get extra defensive roll on your fleeing vessel that could destroy your assault shuttle all together.

An interesting idea, but how about an slightly different idea: at a certain level / size you can split your ship into 2+ ships, each ship has their own Energy, Hull, Shields, Weapons etc. More like the Prometheus from Voyager, a ship that splits and re-combines.

Just wanted to throw the idea out there, in general I think it would be cool to have a second [fighter, scout, shuttle, or drone] you could control.
Keep up the positive feed back and maybe we will see something like it one day. ^^b

I'm all for making fighters but a second ship not so keen on maybe make a fight build sight on the base or a module then make it cost ship-bots and other items to build them and the take up deck space to house them. Decks should be lvls but that could make our ships really tall and very skinny I think of it as more mass of your ships such and such cubed is a deck

Never should there be a second ship. An artifact thats like drones, for attack defense and cloak, maybe some others but probably would be it, +25% in that area. Like the Lazuli Fighters but thats it.
