An idea I've had for a while

Terice planet-basically a terra planet going through a global ice age

MJining abundant-very rich
Artifact rich-ultra rich
Research rich-mega rich

Of course a MSM can still be used on it but it'll become a terra instead of an oceanic

A few planet ideas I posted elsewhere:

Feral Wasteland:
The surface of the planet has been blown up, burned, frozen, irradiated, etc.
What remains of the planet is covered in active volcanoes and giant ice caps, with irregular night/day patterns and 3 magnetic poles.

Fungal Swamp:
An oceanic that has been overrun with colorful mushrooms, florescent moss, and huge beetles.
The spores eat away at exotic components (such as those found in artifacts) but the planet is ripe with specimens to observe and collect.

Changeling:
The planet is evenly split between a harsh desert, a lush forest, and a deep ocean.
The indigenous species are constantly at war, as the planet itself seems to react to the battle's progress.

Trash:
A planet-sized ball of broken machines, waste compounds, and filth.
Yet, you can be amazed at what people throw away these days...

because unfortunately there is now an upgrade for every type of planet in the game. unless upgraded planets are going to be offered upgrades, we're pretty much done with new planet types until new base planets are added.

Exotic Planet:
Mythic

Mining: extremely rich

Research: ultra rich

Artifact: Rich

Size: Massive

Passive Bonus: It's Exotic Changes will give different bonuses. The 5 changes (changes once a week and is random) are - Artifact change- artifact becomes 10x mega rich, Research change- research becomes 10x mega rich, Mining change- mining becomes 10x mega rich, Normal change- everything is normal like the stats above, and Exotic change- all resources will become 15x mega rich and you gain 20 exotic matter an hour

there are already exotics in the game. i suggested a bioluminescent upgrade to exotics, but i dont think its gonna happen. :P

Asteroid Planet. An asteroid that travels through space not set in one place. usally tiny - small
contains Rich mining. Average Artifact. Rich Research
after scaning this type of planet you have 24 hours to colonise it or it disapears from scan page

Rouge Planet.

An Asteroid planet that has colided with other asteroids to create an average size planet. it travels through space. After scanning this planet you have 24 hours to colonise or it disapears from scan page.

Stableised planet
A rouge planet that has a created orbit.
it nolonger travels through space.


to create a Rouge planet you need a Graviton Compactor Artifact use the Graviton Compactor on a Asteroid Planet to create a Rouge planet
+ 2 size +1 Production

To create a Stablized Planet you need to use a planetary Stablizer Artifactuse the Planetary Stabilizer on a Rogue planet to create a Stablized Planet
+ 2 Size +2 Production

what about a Eden planet. It would be second to a Dyson. Because an eden is a paridise the planet would have mega rich+ artifact and research and zero mining because you woundnt want mines and strip mines in your paridise now would you. the planet would be mostly lush tropical areas and because of the dense surroundings it would have a passive invasion defensive that scales based on the size of the planet. the odds of finding one while scanning is close to the same as finding a dyson. it would be extremly rare. the planet would look like a gaia but alittle different so it should be to hard to make a picture of it.

Eden Planet would be similar to a Utopian planet. A Terra planet would have a variety of environments eg- Desert, Jungle Arctic. A Eden/Utopian Planet would be entirely a planet thriving full of life (Like a Gaia)
