Why would you have another account. that so stupid and selfish. and defiantly would take the fun out of things. anyway ive got money to blow and so i use it on the little things in which make me happy. and for in this case powerful

What do you mean as in rank slowly, what strategy do you use for that?

the slower you rank the more artifacts and research you get done. it makes you harder to kill off the battle tab, and makes other targets that show up much easier.

just for comparison, I'm rank 73, WITHOUT a mission exotic or dyson. My research is:

1 Weapons ahead
2 energy ahead
1 2/3 shield ahead
same cloaking
1 hull ahead
1 defence ahead (but I use dark rings instead right now)
1 scan behind
same structures
3 1/3 logistics ahead

Ship-wise, I have:
A few more decks and tactical officers
A lot more cargo, engineers, helmsmen and scientists.
Over double your raw hull and over triple your raw shield


I can only guess, but your artifact production is low(ish) bacause that's my main source of cargo, helmsmen, scientists, hull and shields. I'd say try to get that up next, or you'll forever be on the edge of glory and you may start to have some bad romance with regards to PvP (couldn't help myself), but apart from that everything looks fine.

I would fast rank to 600 then take it slowly.

There is nothing noob about being under rank 62 for months. It is a game play decision. I am not saying that is what Lady did. I have no idea. I am just bringing out the other side of the debate to your statement.

Understanding The Slow Ranker Option

It is noob when you take into consideration persistent enemies. In which case you screwed over by doing slow ranking.
Slow ranking makes you strong for your rank, but it wont take someone long to reach your power and then exceed it by going up 20 some ranks above you quickly.

Ive only been playing for a two months back to back and with the help, assistance, and knowledge from the awesome legion Serenity Brown Coats i have become what i am today... o ya did i mention i have money that really helps alot i encourage you to get Galaxy Points and put them into planetary ex-panders and enriching resource artifact. it help my gravely improve my economy

I don't want to get too far off of Lady's topic or for us to thread jack, but in the year and a half I have played, what you wrote has not happened. Perhaps it has just been my journey, but I have not experienced these persistent enemies you are speaking about. Actually, the longer you slow rank, the less likely you will ever see each other again on a battle tab. You will have to be concerned about alerts, but heck so does everyone. And the margin of how strong will be over powering is a shifting criteria too. Twenty ranks is nothing when comparing a 180 to a 200 ship.

Back to Lady's question though, I think you would do well to add decks for a while... and while Dan is still working on the patch, then you should no longer advertise that you have a Dyson!

Fully agree on both, though I would recommend putting research into energy as well, weather you plan on leveling up quickly or not energy is always useful.

Patch - he's going to bring out a patch to immunise mission dysons and exotics, because a little while ago a load of them got stolen and it caused chaos on the forums.

Dan is the game maker , he made a update that kinda wrecked the scout battle ship if i remember correctly. So i would suggest not going the scout ship thing.

I would suggest getting more hull. someone around level 20 could disable you in about 4 shots.
