The omicron trap device has a life span of a week, once it goes off for the first time do you loose it? or do you keep it for the rest of the week?

You lose it. Same goes for every single other trap. When you get killed by a Omicron Mine trap. It counts to your Deaths. So careful :)

Anyone at the higher ranks find this trap becoming redundant? I mean when you have several k hull and shield, whats an extra 400 damage lol

there is a mission that uses omicron mines to make thetacron mines, thetacrons do 2500 damage.

yeah. i think theyve only slowed me down once. i usually only lose 1000-2000 health in a fight, and i have over 10000 health. so for the most part i dont worry about thetacrons or omicrons.

Chakotay that's exactly what I use them for I halycon and omnicron my ship so that people don't attack seeing as it's trapped :mrgreen:

Traps over time become something that is annoying. Truth be told that is ok, as if you p,an right you can at least make those that are not as mart leave you alone. Which is about 40-50% of the time as time goes on likely less. Having a strong ship and doing any harm might mess with there plans for the day at least.
