Here's two I have in one of my threads:

Dominion Surger
80 Red badges
Constructs a giant surge cannon on the planet (limit 1 per planet)
(size 1) Gives a bonus of 2000 attack to the planet.
Bonus doubles if NO defensive structures (including invasion defences and passive bonuses) are present on the planet.

Dominion Flash
5 red badges
Temporarily disables up 5 defensive modules on the enemy ship.
Enemy ship MUST have all the shields removed before this can be used.

Also, Dan has hinted that there will be some now ones once base combat is released.

more stuff for red, green and even yellow badges would be cool. i like the above suggestion with the red badge buys for PVP extras, but stuff like maybe 5 red badges for a new planet attack item would be cool, especially as a load of players probably have hundreds of red badges going spare.
more expensive options for green badges would be a fun and welcome bonus for planets :D
and it would be fun for NPC badge item but the amount of badges would need to be higher
keep up the awesome game :D

If I'm going to post badge ideas, I may aswell do it properly:

1 green badge for 3 uses
When dropped on a planet, temporarily disables 3 random, non-production structures for 12 hours.
Limit 1 use every 24 hours, and only one may affect a planet at any given time.

Quantum Firewall
120 Blue Badges
5% to hack defense
25 space
A powerful program that blocks enemy hacks. It, however, is not offensive.
Limit 2.

Plasma Toroid Projector
35 Green Badges
Size 3. Adds 300 attacks, and 200 defense to a planet
A ring that allows a planet to fire massive spheres of plasma into space.

Or how about, more badge types in general?

Quaritch I'd go with automated internal defense but yea fun times but dan said in another thread base stuff to be announced later this week so that's good.

Those are soo overpowered.
Stormtrooper barracks : If i installed 2 , is that 6000 Bonus invasion attack? Someone gimme a built dyson to invade.


Sabotage bomb : That's 3 Crimson cluster missiles put together. Can bring a planet defence by up to 7200 if the planet had 3 obviation barriers.

His Hull was probably low and his shields were barely recharging. Only possible explanation.

Probably not, he had a weak combat rep he must have not had many shield or hull modules. But it is possible to destroy a person in one hit.

Yes, it is possible with the current game mechanics. It used to be impossible, when the damage cap was based on Hull, but now that it's based on decks it's entirely possible. If somebody had a ton of decks but no hull, defense, or shield modules installed, and had used few permanent boosts then you could kill them in one hit at full health.

Everything else is easy :

Assimilation Locus (Uses Left: 4) (Will be extracting one more from planet)
Heist Dispatch Center (Uses Left: 2)

Red Badges 432
Yellow Badges 50

Archaeological Centre
A Library that archives large amounts historical data that may be needed to find trace hidden artifacts.
Size 1 Artifact 1 , 50 population
Limit 2

6 Green Badges-
Starbase Prime
A massive station used to coordinate military activity and monitor all space travels within the local sector. Can provide Large defence for a planet.
Size 3 : Artifact 1, Research 1, Mining 1 , 400 Attack , 400 Defence, 200 Population

120 Red Badges-
Weapons Terminal
Contains a large array of weapons such as Missiles pods, Ion arrays, Points Defence turrets. This large inventory of weapons is integrated into the ship as a chassis.
For Dreadnaught class Vessels +
Limit 2
25 Decks : 200 Attack .

+1 to all of those. Especially the Starbase Prime artifact. I hardly ever use my Assimilation Loci, anyway.

The module was a typo - I meant 100, not 1000.
The bomb would include population structures too - i was debating between 2 and three. also, it disables, not destroys.

Okay, the stormtrooper now isn't overpowered. Sounds good. :)

Sabotage bomb :
but disabling/destroys both the same, does it make a difference? deducts potentially 7200 def from a planet for 24 hours, it doesn't take 24 hours to invade a planet. :shock: Maybe something that disables 1 special def structure for 1 hour (interrogation centre, Dark Pylon shifter, Lazuli Pylon). Purchased for 2 green badges.
