The Grungiyrs
(Grun-gee-ers)

A technologically advanced race who appeared through a rift in space. They are hairy (why are there no hairy races on GL?), with only one eye. Despite their grotesque looks, they are a highly intelligent race, but lust for war.

This would be a high rank faction (coming in at around the 600s) with powerful ships to match. Their ships would drop mainly offensive artifacts and modules.

Moderate Defense
High Cloak
Ability: Void Cloak - immune to artifacts.
XP: 70
Drops: 30% Grungiri Void Emitter (Weapon. Grants attack+defense) 40% Flux Orb

Rank 800 Rare Elite Base
Elite Hull
Elite Shield
Moderate Attack
Moderate Defense
Moderate Cloak
Ability: Noxious Air (Rare chance to kill a crew member)

Drops: 50% Grungiri Null Phaser (Planet attack structure.) Grungiri Chaotic Shield (Planetary Defense Structure)

Limits:
4 Grungiyen Weapons (Note: The weapons should be equal so that it is a matter of choice)
3 Grungiyen Structures (Note: These should be equal)

I doubt this would be implemented unless it had lower ranked ships as well, there simply aren't enough people over level 600.

Maybe drop the ranks by around 3-400 on each? Making them around the same time as Flamehawks?

that would be good, we need some stuff to take away from the flamehawks. We do need higher rank content, but the 50th highest player in the game is rank 656, so only about 75-100 people are rank 60 or over. (estimated)

Okay, I've lowered the ranks. Still pretty high rank ships (highest 800), so alot more people would see them.

Agreed. But the Commons for a high rank adversary should start showing up around 400-450.
