Auto-uninstall relays and other energy modules that deducts energy upon ranking, using energy cubes, tri-emblems and energy refills. Anyone see a problem with this? You can turn this off auto uninstalling thing by going to view ship under actions, you can also disallow allied members to repair your ship here in this tab.
(PS : logged in today and turns out i was only 100 xp from ranking)

yes, what happens when there's not room in the cargo bay to uninstall everything?
amendment to your suggestion: items are uninstalled one at a time in order of largest amount of max energy regained, and all eligible item types attempt uninstall (just in case one in the middle of the list doesn't have room to uninstall doesn't mean a different item won't have room)

i wish dan would agree.. but this is too good to be happening. I would pay GP for replays that dont have the energy penalty.. Perfected HyperChannel Relay, Size 5, charge 27 No energy penalty for installing these relays. Counts as a Relay maximum of 4 (meaning you need to uninstall the old versions to install these babies)

Honestly its saving a minor inconvenience and some money. That's it. And the cost of the higher tech is likely enough to offset that. Plus the cost of doing proxys in RP (which is ridiculous). I don't see why not remove the penalty it's not like you can't just take them off to get the energy max back.

I dont even use relays anymore, it's too much of an irritation. So much for FATHERs... if you are charging your energy bar is too small lol

The relays are supposed to have a trade off. They are designed that way.
You are supposed to make a strategic decision about them:
More energy per hour or more total energy capacity?
Just because we've figured out a way to monkey with the system and avoid having to make that decision doesn't mean it should be made easier for us.
It's like asking for less upkeep on the higher tier weapons because you don't want to think about whether it is worth it to upgrade.
This is a strategy game. Strategize.

This is a strategy game. Strategize. That's not the point, nearly everyone uninstalls relays prior to getting a complete energy recharge, most of us get annoyed when we rank up without uninstalling relays and losing hundreds/thousands of energy, we are already "monkeying" the system. The relays deduct certain amount of energy becuase you are more online often, if you are going away for 24 hours, best you have 1 or 2 relays installed, that is the probably strategy dan wants us to take. if we are going to log on in 7 hours, we install maximum relays for as much energy possible back as soon as we come back. The deduct energy was never intended to be permanent and dan has let us uninstall them whenever we like to especially before we rank or use a energy cube/refill , so why we not perfect it so? Makes the majority happier

Personally I prefer to have "stupid" taxes in the game, it lets those who actually plan ahead get an advantage.
