I've been talking to some guys in the game and we all think that we should get some badges back for the cannons that we worked hard to get.
I'm not talking about a full badge trade but a partial since we did get some use out of the cannon.
Think of it as stripping some parts off a weapon to put on a better one ...

Seems a waste and too much hard work to have to get that many more badges ...

I agree also thats alot of badges for some of the larger ships to get were dealin with alot more powerful traps now to replace the 4 dominions we had for along time now. Deleting them almost is sad knowin u flushed 160 badges down the drain.

I can agree. I know I spent atleast a month or two going after other pc's just to get badges expecialy at low ranks. At higher ranks it is harder and almost a great deal less 'profitable' to pvp at higher ranks. For you go after one you now will get ganged up on just to get you taken down.

yeah 50% badge return would be perfect, but even 25% back would be nice

I dont think they should give any payback, leave it like it is... players need to earch the new ones... if any thing they should require players to go from 1s to 2s he 3s ect ect... that way you have to actually EARN them and not add additional weapons so easily

i agree if we had been givin that option in the first place i think we wouldve held out for the better ones and not waste our badges on the first ones.... at MINIMUM we should get half the cost back

I agree with this...If not 50% at least 25% would be nice so the badges that were used to get 1st ones wouldn't seem wasted

I agree with this idea. A trade in percentage would be very beneficial.

That's why I think we should get some badges back .. I'm hoping for half the badges back but 25 % would be better than nothing.

You guys are going to have to leave me out of this deal as I wont part with My MarkIII canons...they were a alot of work to aquire

so folks are wanting a refund for the cannons they already have when they turn more badges in for bigger Cannons?

i don't think there was any warning that upgraded dominion cannons were coming out... some people may have JUST finished getting all 4 first level dominion cannons....

modules give you part back when you sell them so why not. I new something bigger was coming so i didn't buy but know I am and I'm using all my reds I've had for it sense pvping is a bit harder at higher lvls.

Why need a trade-in? Suppose that Dan "likes" the idea of trade in then he jacks up dom cannon 3 at cost of 148 then you can trade in your mk1 cannon for 20 to buy that mk3 for 148.. OR just trash mk1 and buy that at 128.. No difference.

I want to be able to trade up my dom's or get a 100% full refund because Dan never mentioned that he will put in better dom's and i just recently got my 3rd one.

And im quite sure dan has plannet mk3's well before i even managed to get my first one.. so i feel cheated by him since i now have wasted 120 red badges.

I agree. In our legion everyone is required to have a full compliment of dominion cannons and many people just recently acquired them. If we had known about the mk3's coming out they would have been advised to save their badges.
