i'd like to suggest that cargospace be infinite...
if we have all these planets (especially if we have a (soon to be invincible) mission dyson)... surely there's room on the planets for us to stow our unused artifacts (and for that matter, uninstalled modules)...
and... If we're able to receive mineral, artifact, and research points from all our planets all at once every hour on the hour no matter where we are in the galaxy... we should be able to receive any unused artifact we have stowed away on a planet immediately whenever desired as well
is anyone else following my train of thought? (or did it get de-railed?)

is anyone else following my train of thought? (or did it get de-railed?) if you filled all the pace on your planet with structures you can't possibly put some thing more on it. Maybe a planetary structure ship storage warehouse: takes up no space, and for every free space on the planet, you gain 10 cargo spaces.

imo cargo SHOULD be infinite. the only reason its there is to handicap low levels. i mean, i have 4300 cargo at rank 360, and im on the LOW end of cargo. there are players above me that have literally tens of thousands of cargo. more than enough space for all their useless artifacts. i agree it should be infinite. less clicking on the recieve mineral button, less worrying about how to prioritize your artifacts at a low level, etc. it would work out well for everyone, but especially the noobs, which is what this game is based around anyway...

I feel that it would take away the challenge of the game as well, at a low level you are always having to struggle with these things, but as you get higher, it gets easier. Maybe make it infinite once you get above, X rank? Maybe even make it a mission. Lol. Quasi-Dimensional Expander.

I got little ober 16000 cargo, and at the moment i use little over 15k of those, mainly because aidoniums space usage is really screwed up. And not to forget the millions of currently useless artifacts that might be usefull down the road, or artifacts i need to save due to npcs vanish after a while (due to level restrictions). Cargo is very limiting.
I recall at the starts one has like 20-40 cargo to start with and a few artifact draws, and its full. And you could almost not be able to buy the minerals needed to buy modules due to mineral size and amount of them needed outdid the cargo availble.

I can't see getting rid of the cargo limit, but the base cargo space could be increased, helping the lower levels out some without any drastic change.

It would be nice. However it would really change the game dynamics. Think about; even with 16K of cargo you still have the same problem newbies have -- not enough! Maybe Dan could tweak the cargo space.
