 1 Base kill per day SUCKS..

perhaps base action should be limited in a similar way to ship action. 1 kill per day plus as many kills as the the legion has done so that if you kill another base your base can be killed twice.

I like Mark W's suggestion. Base kills should be handled more like ship actions, and be limited to each base being able to be killed x number of times per day, that action total upped every time that legion kills another base. This would ensure that more players from each legion are able to participate in base battles. As it stands now, not everyone gets to participate and reap the rewards.

Right and it's completely useless for strong legion like Dysonians cuz we are quite capable of handling any bases in the galaxy.. I'm told you can put 10 ppl on it per event, so 10 ppl get a silver once a day. That's a long time to get the cool NPC modules, esp. for a pvp legion (sorry noc...) . I've already written it off as a to-do after reset in our child legion where I can beat on some random lowbie bases and farm reds easily since I need to get Dom MK3 anyway.

Surge Plexus is the only item that serves my purpose, 96 days to get all 3 minimum (except I hear you can get 3 at a time in the top slots? not sure yet). The rest is whatever. It's still rather frustrating. And of course we all stand to lose the 100% resource bonus on base disable. So I'll deal with all this for +15% NPC damage bonus, but otherwise I'm not that excited. Maybe base gives a large XP bonus on disable ? yeah right. Maybe legion hop to get more silvers ? ?

You can't Legion hop, because you need to be Loyal.

More people can get Badges for the higher level base, and the top damagers get more Badges (as in, 30 people get Badges on a level 3 Base and the top 5 people get 3 Badges each).

With repairs I would just stick with a L3. I am hearing due to repairs it's just ridiculous to try on the higher ones, and dys L7 is damn near impenetrable even with multi legion (well they did pay a lot for that).

Further, one base attack a day means that if you have a family life, you may well not be available at that moment, even if you live in a place where the timing of the one attack might be reasonable.

And even further, if your base has any kind of discrepancy in power between the players, it means that with just one attack some players may never get silver badges.

With multiple base attacks a day, it is more likely that everyone will get in on at least one.

Hi there,

I'll add to my earlier one sentence, since it seems a whole paragraph is needed to get a reaction here.

I think this discussion is at best premature and at worst moot, and based around boasting about a level kill that the dysonians have evidently achieved in their first day of action (Congratulations!), we had an altogether different experience with a much larger and better defended target. So, please, when discussing options or calling for the developer to adjust something, let us base it on more realism and multiple experiences than some credit driven shark boasting about devouring sardines.

Is it that you feel that you should be able to farm tons of low level bases Noci? We found a level 2 and passed on it, and attacked the terran outsiders rank 17 on the rank leader board. We couldnt crack that one.....why dont you fight a legion worthy of "The best legion with the best team work". seems like you want to be like a Randy the Giant D@ck and beat up a bunch of people who cant possibly compete with you....You go on and on about being about to kill npcs all you want and bases should be basically the same. You dont mention that a 40% range should be put on or anything as it should be.....you cant see people 40% below your rank so no seeing bases 40% below your level seems reasonable. So you should only be able to scan level 4 and above bases... So dont be such a bully and pick a fair fight with your tons of RED badges you can easily do it.

i just want to be able to atk one. That is why i posted the thread about being loked out on the atk for 24hr only if you have atk one.

OK so it's 8 hrs now, but the issue was really people wanted a shot at a large base (well some people). What this means is: large legions farm 3 smaller bases per day, because 24h is needed with multiple legions to take on a larger base. Now I don't care cause I just want more silvers, but I know some legions wanted a shot at taking on something 5+ on their own. Due to tech restriction you'd just sit and hit L3-4 bases because they have inferior tech. 24h time limit was OK, if you can lock say 3 bases at once.

My problem with the 1 base kill per day was that on level 5+ bases it's going to take a multi legion effort to take down a well defended base. And the battle allies had to wait 24 hours to join in, so basically making them pointless.

The problem I see with the change to the 8 hour lock is that it makes taking out a 5+ base even harder. 8 hours won't be enough time to take one down.

I'd like to see it go back to a 24hour lock, but keep it to 8 hour wait till next battle. Or have legions able to have 1 lock battle and 1 assist battle capability.
