i am rather new to the game and i feel like i picked the wrong race. so, do everything i own disappear when i change race and profession.

also, if i want to reset my account, do i start from the very start, so i can choose race again or do i have my race and profession?

If you reset your account then you do get to choose a new race a profession. If you just use the "Change Race/Profession" option then you keep everything, you just change your race and profession.

ok. im only rank 35 so it doesn't do so much if i reset my account. just have to sell my planets before thanks for the very fast response

you don't have to sell your planets.... you lose everything on a reset... planets, credits, artifacts, research.... all gone

the only thing you get to keep is UNSPENT galaxy points... any GP that has already been spent on artifacts and such will also be lost

if he has good planets that have not been scaned by anyone else then YES I can see very good reason for him too sell them!

he would have to wait until after his reset to collect, though
