I think it'd be really helpful if you could organize Planetary Structures by type (in the same way that you can organize your planets by type or resource or size or what have you by clicking the word at the top of the column).

It would be slightly more efficient if all of the buildings of the same name were together, rather than being listed in the order in which they were constructed. You could look at the screen easily and say "Oh, I have already HAVE two Phase Cutters on this planet!" rather than scrolling down to see first one you installed when you first colonized it, THEN several other buildings built in the interim, then the second phase cutter you installed more recently.

Actually, having the option to organizing items by size could also be very useful (if one is considering sacrificing one building for another, for example.)

It's a simple suggestion, but it would save time organizing things.

I LOVE this game!

This would be even more useful in the "building" tab, where they're all mixed together.
Have all the research, artifact, mining, defensive, attack, population, cloaking and "special" (outposts etc) separate.

You know, it would be kinda nice if it automatically sorted....That would seriously simplify the code.
