Hello, Ive been asked to try this game by various friends and its going ok so far, Just wondered if i could get some advice.

My 2nd or 3rd planet scanned was a err.. very large rare (something my friends swore about so I guess im extremely lucky).

After extensively searching the forums I see that my chances of keeping this planet are ultra slim, due to me being lvl 9. Is there any advice out there as to how I can fortify it?

not really. if you're lucky nobody will scan it. other than that i can't think of any way to help. also try guarding it

if you stay UNDER rank 20, and are active(logged in in the past week) you're planets CANNOT be attacked, it's part of you'r "curtsy period", beginners' protection.

beginner's protection doesn't last forever though.... it'll eventually drop for even a lvl 1, even if you log in every day
in fact... i think protection begins from the time you land on the race selection screen
