I need some help. Do I...
1. Buy a Tetra-Seek Targeter since I have the badges and space, despite the fact it adds not so good scan, and it's 5% attack bonus is too wimpy to harm a base with.
2. Wait for another 10 or so badges so that I can get the Surge Plexus which offers energy, and a more useful 5% NPC bonus, which is more practical, but more expensive.
Any suggestions?

Just my two cents..I have gone with the top ones first(Plexus) and working myself down from there..as you said more practical and the energy and such will help you short term more.

The three 5% bonuses are multiplicative, and therefore help alot more with bases than you probably realize.
I would get them to help with silver farming and get the scan ones later on.

I recommend Surge Plexus adding energy is good and the NPC Attack is the best way to go. Fish Cookie Bullocks Cows Banana Hamster.

Well, everybody has confirmed what I was thinking of. Thanks, I shall stick with my plan of getting the Surge Plexus first.

Yep - surge plexus. even for base battles, one surge plexus will do about the same job as one tetra-seek. Think of it like this:
You deal 1000 damage/hit (average). With 1 surge plexus, that's another 10000 damage (50 energy = 10 attacks) With 1 Tetra (5%), that's another 50 damage/attack, meaning that you'd need to make 200 attacks on the base to see the same return as a surge plexus.
2 tetras (110.25%) would give an extra 102.5 damage/attack, meaning you'd have to make 98 attacks to see the same return as one plexus
3 tetras (115.7625%) would give an extra 175.625 damage/hit meaning that you'd need to make 60 attacks to get the same result as one plexus
Seriously speaking, how many attacks do you make on a base? the tetras are a waste until you have all 3 plexuses, purely for base battles (never mind NPCs)

I.e Very Rough Example With Tetra: Do 1000 Dmg with 50 attacks, repair 2times. With Plexus: Do 1000 Dmg with 60 attacks, repair 3times.

Besides way I see it..
Plexus = Help yourself and up to 14other legion memebers at a time. Tetra = Help your whole legion and your allies.

Tetra = Help your whole legion and your allies. agreed.... if someone doesn't really need the extra energy, tetra first..... i already have 3 tetra and 2 plexus anyway... went for the tetra first because it helps me get top 5 on the bases easier just a few badges away from last plexus... (would've had it a week ago but work and sleep... ugh) if you're finding yourself out of energy often (first go upgrade your relays)... go for the surge.... of course the surge only helps on energy if you level or if you would have otherwise maxed out your energy recharge between playing sessions

I'd say to anyone below rank 150, 3 plexuses first - energy is a very valuable commodity, and the NPC bonus is far more help, and anyway, against a lvl4 or a well built lvl3, you'll probably only be doing 10 damage anyway.
Anyone above that, I'd get tetra, then plexus, then take it from there.
