 Pay 5 g to relocate unique planetary artifacts

Hey, how about introducing ability to relocate guarded memorial structure and other unique planetary artifacts by paying 5 g (just like abandon colony)? Pay 5 g to get that structure back then you can re-assign it to any new planet of your choosing.. When players were young and got guarded memorial and placed them on junk planet cuz they didn't have many planets to start with. One day, those players eventually got better planets and wished to move their guarded memorial over.

That also would give developer added little income for the unique artifact relocations..

I would hate to have uber unique artifact such as tier reward planetary structure on Exotic planet only to get a Dyson later on and I would love to relocate that to dyson's.. Maybe cost of g's depends on rarity of planetary artifacts?

I like this idea I have some artifacts that I want to move off a world to a better one but can't. This would allow me to do so.

A 'Reclaim' artifact is a good idea... let me think about this one (and a name for it!) :)

I would be interested to see a catch with this though. I'd hate for a high rank to take one of my planets and export the buildings before I could try to take it back.

Heh, it's no different from having it being demolished by enemy before you re-capture it back... Bottomline, you should do anything to protect your planet with unique artifacts in the first place. :) Other nice benefit is that you can reclaim your unique artifact if you know that your planet will be invaded with high degree of certainty before it falls into enemy's hands..

Kinda a spite move on my part, but I'd rather them destroy them than be able to reassign them.

if the buildings are the limited-make type, then why would any invader destroy them? They work for everyone.

well when upgrading Buildings... say from size 15, +6 production... to size 16, +8 production... you might just need that 1 or 2 extra slots to upgrade so you might want to get rid of those *unique* buildings....

like the example the memorial is a size: 2 +1 research.... but if i got rid of that and upgraded my other buildings with that 2 space i could get +4 more production, instead of that +1

I think that is a great idea!! Nothing worse than putting an good artifact on a so-so planet and then having it stuck there when it could be of better use on another planet. I have a couple of great artifacts on planets I would get rid of but I can't.

That's a good thing but I'd rather have the 5 Gp option as well. Blade Harvesters are uncommon too, you know ?
