Not sure if this has been suggested before, but can shipments that haven't been claimed be converted directly to base funds rather than be lost forever? (Essentially base crew just sells them to some race's government or whatever)

Unclaimed research could be converted to funds following the same exchange rate as the research contract (25,000 credits per research point), and it can't be too difficult to work out an exchange rate for unclaimed mineral or artefact points.

Any thoughts/feelings?

It's that big of an issue for everyone to log on ONCE a day and claim their payout? If so, they're wasting personal production so you may as well just set the payout for percent.

No way, if you want your shipment what's so hard about getting up and collecting it yourself, and what happens with arti production bases which make up the vast majority.

Did you even look to see if there was a thread?

Like this one
or this one

The unclaimed shipment is added to the shipment and distributed like normal, the excess is tossed. If you miss 2 days well that's your fault for losing out

What if you go on vacation? Being unable to claim it, is wasting resources for the whole legion. I think this is a great idea. I know lots of people in my legion that don't log on every day of the week. The extra funds would be nice.

+1

Totally defeats the purpose of even playing the game. If you're gonna set everything on cruise control, why play the game in the first place? I won't write this idea off completely because you're right. It would be nice to have that option but it should come at a high price. Let's say, an artifact added to the base to allow for such a thing; a rare artifact that's difficult to find and even harder to secure. Then...maybe.

I cant remember exactly where it is but this already happens.

Any unclaimed production gets added to the next days shipment and divided as it would normally be.

Example:

10 member legion producing 100k gives each player 10k per day. If 1 player doesnt take his shipment then its added to the next day equalling 110k to be divided by 10, giving each person 11k. If they still dont take the shipment then it gets added in again and again and again, until they are no longer active/loyal.

Just to remind you guys, this ALREADY HAPPENS.

Well all he would have to do is change it to % payout and he would get the lot anyway.

Not if he used his multis energy supplies.
