Mylarai Surveyor ( The Mylarai Mining Guild ) Rank Matched Miner Uncommon
The Mylarai Mining Guild have a notorious reputation for disregarding most of the Galactic rules regarding trade practices. In order to quickly expand to new areas, the Mylarai use surveyors to locate sites for potential future excavations.

Pfft... where's the rest of the code? Do you expect Dan to do it by himself? (Not bad, +1)

drops are too good for an uncommon, either up the rarity ( I can find 2 of these an hour 20k mining is a lot for lower ranks) or scale it down to like 250-500MU and a nerfed purger...meh I am okay with it, but maybe not as high of a chance, 10%

Rare instead of Uncommon works, though I don't think the Mineral Units volume need be nerfed considering that lower ranks aren't NPCing on your level, so unlikely they'll find two per hour. If it dropped the Purger at ~16% that would be fine too, just none of this 5% mythical status we get with QSEs.

Definite +1.
I'll enjoy more NPC Variety.
I think 25% drop rate is maybe a little high for the purger, unless it could come with a stipulation for its use;
Can only be used on planets the Mylarai deem unworthy... So you couldn't purge Barren/Demon/Volcanic/Irradiated/Sentient Worlds.

Rather then getting a set MU amount Maybe back it 10% an hours worth of MU. this will still encourage people to raise the MU to an OK number. Getting 10k off one If its any thing like most the uncomins in BT i'll get like 200+k a day off them. but % hourly i think would balance it out.

After all has a miners guild the Mylarai would have no use for Gas planets..

We aren't supposed to be fighting the Mylarai anymore, that's why the Extractor's description was changed to say it was malfunctioning. I wouldn't mind something like this, but the rewards are probably overpowered unless it's fairly rare, especially giving that much mining. Things have been added to the game to make mining more essential, and I assume that's on the basis that you need to use some planets for mining and thus makes it more difficult to just take only AP planets. Getting that much mining easily from NPCs will negate that to some extent. Mylarai Extractor wrote: In order to quickly expand to new areas, the Mylarai use extractors to relocate their equipment. This one appears to have malfunctioned, as it is no longer controlled by the Mylarai themselves.

How about a high level extractor that lets us pull off some of the stuff that we can not at the moment? Make it level 1500+ and that would get rid of part of Dan's argument on why we can't extract things.

Would really like to see all planet mods extractable. Don't low levels get the items anyways when they invade the planet?
I like the npc idea, would do the Minerals like the crates based on mineral production per hour so it can scale better to who is finding it.
Some of these factions seem to just come and go in the game, others we just hear about in passing and never seem to go into their space again (why can't I be a warmonger and wage war against all npc factions if I want to?)
